I don't love Trump either, not because of any malice though, but because it's naive to love any political figure. It's laughable whenever I hear someone say "I'd love to have a beer with Obama", as if the act he puts on means he's a pleasant person to have a chat with, and same goes for those who think Trump is the next Jesus. It's similar to putting celebrities on a pedestal actually, and when I think about it they're similar to politicians- both professions involve pretending to be someone you most likely are not, so I don't see why loving these people is needed to enjoy their work, or in a presidential candidate's case, vote for them. Lesser of two evils will always hold when voting, at least for me.I don't love Trump in any way. People on my social media might think I do because I hate their SJW nonsense. But damn if I had a nickel for every time they posted an actually factual, backed up criticism of Trump's actions I'd be...well, I'd still be mostly broke. Like, I can agree his personality is annoying and there are likely some actual incompetent things here or there. But I see so many obviously bullshit posts about "orange man bad, he did every awful thing that ever happened in the world. Even things that aren't the president's responsibility" that my immediate reaction is "yeah sure." I don't see the republicans around me flying into a blind rage by seeing a Biden sign, but I sure do see the opposite.
If he wins the election (I would not be surprised) I will laugh my butt off. I don't care anymore.
