U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

I don't love Trump in any way. People on my social media might think I do because I hate their SJW nonsense. But damn if I had a nickel for every time they posted an actually factual, backed up criticism of Trump's actions I'd be...well, I'd still be mostly broke. Like, I can agree his personality is annoying and there are likely some actual incompetent things here or there. But I see so many obviously bullshit posts about "orange man bad, he did every awful thing that ever happened in the world. Even things that aren't the president's responsibility" that my immediate reaction is "yeah sure." I don't see the republicans around me flying into a blind rage by seeing a Biden sign, but I sure do see the opposite.

If he wins the election (I would not be surprised) I will laugh my butt off. I don't care anymore.
I don't love Trump either, not because of any malice though, but because it's naive to love any political figure. It's laughable whenever I hear someone say "I'd love to have a beer with Obama", as if the act he puts on means he's a pleasant person to have a chat with, and same goes for those who think Trump is the next Jesus. It's similar to putting celebrities on a pedestal actually, and when I think about it they're similar to politicians- both professions involve pretending to be someone you most likely are not, so I don't see why loving these people is needed to enjoy their work, or in a presidential candidate's case, vote for them. Lesser of two evils will always hold when voting, at least for me.

PA may be done for the night, good on the cops for not "sitting on their thumbs and wiggling their toes" while things escalated and instead gathering enough to go after the smallish group of agitators pretty decisively.
Like I said, they don't have to deal with people in office looking to be the face of #TheResistance in Lancaster, PA.

They really want the Insurrection Act to be invoked,

Well, from what I've heard, the left's main concern is that Trump won't concede in the event of an election loss, and just not entertain the transfer of power. They want to make sure that happens.
I think even they and the DNC have realized that Trump isn't going to invoke the Insurrection Act and is more than content to let the states handle matters (or not) and step in when needed and requested, as he should. They just need another Heather Heyer.

Unfortunately, that will also never happen. How would you enforce that without building walls around major metros?
My actual solution is whats going happen despite being extreme. America being fractured into multiple geopolitical entities. A land of village states

You live in one place and get mad about the law being enforced? Then that person gets exiled. Go find some where else that will tolerate your Bullshit

The right has three Heather Heyers so far: Jay Bishop in Portland, and the two LASD deputies in Compton.

This is not panning out the way they hoped. The Rittenhouse thing must've been someone wishing for another Charlottesville on a Monkey's Paw. There's a lot more to sympathize with when it comes to Kenosha Kyle compared to James Fields, which is why the right is rallying behind Kyle Rittenhouse openly and brazenly rather than condemning him as an extremist.

I agree that the word "love" probably wasn't the most accurate. I probably should have said admire, or appreciate? I don't have either of those for Trump either. I remain mostly neutral towards political figures themselves and agree or disagree with them. Then vote for whoever has a stance I most agree with. I would save love for close family and friends.

I just see so much "hatred" towards Trump and other political figures and wrapping your identity around being anti something isn't my thing. It seems too tiresome. I'm sure people also worship Trump (I just don't know any who do personally) and that's silly too.

It's been about 3 hours since the demonstration began proper and we're seeing more proper antifa provocation tactics as of, what, around half an hour or so ago? It's not a perfect timeline but it isn't inconsistent either.

I don't have a good handle on traffic out of Phili at around 9PM as I've never been there so, and I suppose if cops were preventing entry for a couple hours that might change the entry equation.
Philly is a traffic nightmare. First time I went there by car, the second time I chose to take a train instead.

I'm kicking myself for tuning this shit out all day today, I don't live in Lancaster but it's a pretty short drive.

For what it's worth, Trump did manage to turn PA into a red state after years of it being blue.

I'm honestly amazed if this is the actual plan. How does that even work? Do they think federal agents would just sit there and let you occupy the capital for nothing?

If Trump wins, the gloves will hopefully be taken off, if this shit still continues then I'd be amazed if he didn't invoke the Insurrection Act and just bring the hammer down on these fucks.

The county of Lancaster is red and voted 57% for Trump in 2016, the city of Lancaster is much more blue but thankfully the city isn't big enough yet to overtake the rest of the county. The county has only ever gone blue once and that was for LBJ in 1964.

Pet project of mine this evening: Dox this fucking beemer. It was definitely a car involved in the riots but to what extent it is hard to tell, it didn't spend a lot of time on camera. Perhaps a support car.

Looks like 7491N across the center.

Hard to tell if a PA plate.

Insight and contrary opinions appreciated.

Someone must have mixed up today's incident with that story of an autistic teen being shot by police that happened earlier this week.
someone floated the idea that it was intentional to make them fuck themselves mixing up narratives, since none of them gave a shit about that autistic kid.

you don't even have to sympathize with kyle -- i mean, yeah, i can understand the kid being terrified for his life, but, he was a textbook fucking case of self defense in pretty much any state. not every state has a duty to retreat clause but he ran the fuck out of there quite a ways before he even pulled his gun on the first fucker, then ran again until he tripped and avril lavigne song tried to bash his head in, and was still unable to retreat when cunt eastwood, slowest draw in the west got his bicepectomy.

Oh yeah the optics of starving a bunch of hardworking normies to get back at a few black bloc faggots would go over real well. Great plan.
The democratic strong holds are where the rioting is at its worst and the Marxist crap is at its worst. Those who live there vote in thise who enable this stuff and they want red voters gone or dead.

Its no different then the Cuba embargo.

No one said they cant get their food from other places like Canada or china
