JK Rowling’s latest book is about a murderous cis man who dresses as a woman to kill his victims - Discuss all the JK Rowling tranny shit here

Honestly the only way this story could be more wild is if she wrote a book about a Male detective who disassociates and becomes the Cross-dressing killer, investigating his own crimes unknowingly. Only to discover in the climax of the book that he is the one committing the crimes and thus kills himself to rid humanity of his scourge.

Then you'd have Cross-dressing ✓ Mental Illness ✓ AND Suicide ✓

BTK Dennis Rader
Hadden Clark
Ed Gein

Doil Lane.
Henry Lee Lucas.
Daryll Rasmussen who went by Ms Puppy.

All three were active crossdressers as adults or forcibly dressed up as little girls by their Mothers as children and went on to snap as adults. Surely not a correlation, right Twitter?

As for Rowling, I've never found her writing particularly engaging and she looks like a melting waxwork, but she knew she would get this reaction, and for that I say well played.

The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde the troon

Well that’s just unbelievable

We have sex segregated bathrooms because it makes people slightly more comfortable pooping in public. If you're willing to violently rape somebody in a public place you're obviously going to be willing to ignore the honour system expectation of only pooping in your assigned toilet. Keeping men out of female toilets is a good idea in general but it's not going to prevent anything worse than uncomfortable situations and lowkey stall-peepers, and trying to make it about rape prevention just makes you look like a hysterical dangerhair.

Couldn't disagree more. Segregation gives expectations. It sets off warning flags to people around you that "hey, that guy might not just be going to take a shit". It also puts the woman herself on alert. If she sees a guy in an area where she might expect him to be, she will politely ignore him. But since he's not supposed to be there and had to make a conscious decision to enter, she's fully socially Justified in directly confronting him. "What are you doing here?"

That setup gives (adult) women more time to behave and engage defensively, which is important because women basically always feel safe in our societies.

As much as I hate her and I disagree with some of her opinions on the matter, I have to respect her stance on the whole transgender issue.

She has been asked and given many opportunities to back down from her stance and every time she has only dug her heels on the ground harder and harder, culminating in a 900 page shitpost dedicated to all those that have been trying to deplatform her or bring her to their side.

Godspeed lady, best of luck in your crusade.

Point 3: Writing under a pseudonym is rather pointless if people already know it's you.
Many pseudonyms are branding at this point.

It does two more things:
- helps prevent he said / she said bullshit (see: the fair lady Yaniv): what were you doing in the women's?
- protects women from creeps in social situations: they can escape to a bathroom and phone or ask other visitors for help.

Is JK an actual TERF? I just thought people were projecting after they felt “betrayed” by her.

lol no.
She basically said biological women have rights and safety concerns and that men in dresses need to respect that and troons reeeeed because Harry Potter is the only book they’ve read.
But because they’re mentally ill men, they’ve gone off the deep end, harassing her, death threats and the like, so she probably is a TERF now.

Okay but is the book any good though, TERF troon screeching aside? I tried to read her first non-Harry Potter novel when it came out, but it was really mediocre.

Her first non-Harry Potter book suffered heavily from children's author writing for adults now and overusing vulgarities to show the book is for adults, really, people swear in it. Her detective novels are supposed to be at least competent within the genre.
