The heel-turn they'd have to make to even remotely have a chance at putting another Democrat president in the White House would be so jarring that nobody would believe it, not even some die-hard Democrats. It forced everyone, from the media, to the """intelligence""" agencies, to the DNC itself, to show their true colors to the American public.
