Although, since Glip and/or Eevee (don't care which really) chimped out over Stephen Universe shit recently I'm sure it's more a matter of them doubling the fuck down for asspats and validation that they've gotten better and grown past their weird sexual fixations or something. It's still very funny that someone who still consistently fails to understand consent boundaries and has a plethora of drawn bestiality and minor porn in their google results still thinks that being hypercritical about whether or not Steg counts as incest is the hill they're going to die on.

I don't think the weird porn is going to be as professionally damaging as people think it is. A lot of general audience creative people draw weird porn, but they're usually professional enough about it not to post it all over the place. If they do, it'll be discreetly under a different name or only in a very private setting. Her mixing the two types of content without warnings is definitely an issue with a lack of professionalism. A studio won't be able to trust her not to be horny on main about whatever she's working on. I'm not saying that she'll get a carte blanche for her porn, but rather her behavior is really the shit cherry on top of this rotten sundae.

Her behavior and attitudes about her work are going to estrange her from the rest of the professional art community. She's unable to accept even the most sniveling critique and doesn't work well wither others. She demands 100% creative control on all her projects. When she's running a fan community based on a web comic she creates, that's fine. When she's working on a team of artists managed by a creative director, that shit doesn't fly. Additionally, there's a lot of evidence of ongoing abusive, spiteful behavior despite numerous public apologies.

Even if you completely discount all the bestiality and child porn she's drawn (which won't happen), nobody wants to work with her because she's a toxic minefield with a long history of just being a bitch to people. If someone draws weird porn but they have a proven history of meeting deadlines, acting professionally, and being polite, it won't be as big of a problem. Glip doesn't have that history of good behavior to fall back on to cover for the porn.

If there were ever a time to say glip is "defeated" is would be everyday glip doesn't post anything outside of that discord and continues to lead a closed off community while not having the same popularly when the comic was updating on time. Even the future doesn't look good. If glip were to release a game thats swears to god that you will bust a nut the first time you play with a money back guarantee, the stigma around the creators will make it dead on launch.
