Guys an EMP would have to be delivered via ICBM. There's no hiding how that happens or how it's launched. The only way China could try to fool the US into thinking it was Iran or NK would be to park one of their SSBNs very close to either country, but they couldn't get close enough for the launch signature to be mistaken for anything but a SSBN launch. There's no way China would commit suicide like that. And Suicide it would be. Outside of a few hundred thousand absolute miscreants the whole nation would be screaming for the blood of a billion and a half Chinamen. We'd exterminate the lot of them and the only place Chinese would be spoken after that would be in Hell.

A 300 mile altitude detonation could be accomplished with a low orbit satellite equipped with a nuke. Another delivery method could be a hypersonic missile, which China apparently has developed. Russia has a missle in the works that can be disguised in a shipping container for near-shore deployment.

I'm leaning more towards punji-staked tiger pits. Claymores are a single use thing; but dig the pits deep enough, and it'll take a while before filling with enough bodies to cross.

I just checked out Woke on Twitch and there's nothing going on outside of a small group in Rochester. According to some of the west coast people in chat, the air quality due to the fires is slowing things there. According to the air quality index, that's plausible in Portland, but not so much in Seattle considering they're playing an outdoor baseball game there tonight, and even less so in Los Angeles.
