Homestuck 2 is being written by a group of prominent Homestuck fic writers, most of all Gamblignant8 who is a wannabe CHAZZ tankie and self-described political agitator who LARPs in her room with plastic toy guns about how she is going to shoot J.K.Rowling and all the other transphobes. She also thinks one of the most irredeemably malicious characters in the series actually did nothing wrong-- because she is trans, and she projects onto Vriska, this means Vriska is trans, and being trans makes it OK to torment disabled people and push impoverished little boys off cliffs.

As for Yiffany, the conception of this character really shows you what kind of fics these people wrote-- the kind of batshit crackship with all kinds of bizarre BUT DEN HUSSISIE WAS PREGANANAT?!! twists with convoluted nonsensical excuses for how this occurred in the first place.

Basically, in Homestuck fanon, the porny types like to think that being prototyped with Becquerel caused Jade to get a giant green dog cock. These motherfuckers...made that shit canon. And now Jade is rlly sad that she can no longer conceive a child. Well about halfway through he handed the writing off to a group of writers most notably of these being Cohen Edenfield AKA CohenIsAGhost AKA skullmandible who is the same retard who decided the kid who has PTSD from being thrown into mortal combat by his sole guardian from literal infancy is actually just sad because is a closet homo.

Cohen is in real life married to Kate Leth, a documented supporter of male genocide who has taken to publicly humiliating Cohen over twitter, and is notable for being one of the extremely diverse team consisting exclusively of white women working on High Guardian Spice and apparently ruining one of Marvel's oldest heroines by refusing to write fight scenes and turning the character into her own self-insert to such a degree that when she got bedbugs IRL, the character also had to get bedbugs.

She trooned Cohen because men bad and now he's a smol queer enby with a purple undercut. Then she herself got fat after having previously been a lowkey body builder, then her "bangin' magical girl tits" she was so proud of deflated and now she doesn't like them anymore, which means she gets to be trans, too.

That all is to say I'm 90% sure Cohen has a severe femdom emasculation kink that he is allowing to control his life and is inserting this into everything he touches.

Holy fuck. What is this? It doesn't look like something that would be canon in the story, it feels like you drank too much and went on Ao3/Fanfiction.net and stumbled upon this disaster. Didn't they try to properly end the series with Rose and Kanaya getting married, and then they got a divorce or something?
Hussie should have never let these people TOUCH the story...or even give it a sequel. The spinoffs with the other trolls in Hiveswap and Friendsim were fine, but turning one of the most known series in Internet history into a canon crackfic is both shameful and hilarious.

I don't really follow the updates anymore, but from what I've seen, most people in the HS fandom seem to hate Homestuck 2 and its writers.

As NoFeline said, Jade actually has a dog dick now, the writers made Karkat x Dave canon, Roxy is trans/nonbinary... it's a huge clusterfuck and I don't even know where to start.

There's also that official Homestuck Friendship Simulator, Pesterquest, and... well, it's not that bad but they made Vriska trans, Terezi is fat and Roxy Lalonde is now... black?
