I can explain it.
It's very simple. The left holds a near religious view in one dimensional systems. That is to say, the following are held as self evident:
- Systems must not change at all unless the Left forces a change. Things must remain absolutely static otherwise. The right is not allowed to make changes, nor are they allowed to steer changes the left wish to make. The police must be reform/abolished, other changes are not allowed. You must continue to treat Feminists exactly as you always have, even if they're literally suing your company into the ground. You can't tell the screaming idiot calling you a racist/sexist/transphobic monster to leave your store, they have to be allowed to stay because they're always allowed to stay.
- Only changes the left intends to make are allowed to occur. Police reform must occur exactly how Progressives want it to occur, any deviations from this are not allowed. The only treatment for Transsexuality is Transitioning and clapping for the stunning and braves, all other research is banned.
- No unintended consequences or second order changes must occur. Removing the police must not cause additional crime or cause vigilantism, these must stay the same even without police. Canceling the Filibuser must never affect the Democrats, only the Republicans.
- Progress is a one way linear path, from "the old way" (bad) to "progressiveness" (good). The past was always less progressive (and thus, worse) than the future the left wishes to make. Even if this doesn't make sense, it must be true. Segregation is returning and is a good thing because it's a progressive change (and this time they'll get to pick who gets the good fountains).
Now, take Clinton. Take Trump.
No change was to occur other than the change they were making. The only people allowed to make changes were them. And there is only one path, and only one direction on this path, that these changes can occur. Or, in other words, "IT WAS HER TURN!!!!!!!" The rest of the country weren't supposed to matter, because they weren't supposed to have any input. Only the progressives were supposed to be allowed to make changes.
Think about every freakout they've had since then. They go to make changes, and Trump stops them. Worse, Trump makes his own changes -- that's not allowed! He "shakes the box" and causes chaos, and in the chaos he makes VAST changes and opens up avenues of change that weren't possible. The Feds were never supposed to deputize the police, the Soros-DAs were supposed to allow the rioters to continue rioting forever. They canceled Trump, and his Supreme court pick, and countless others, and the only allowed response was they win and the conservatives lose and go off and be socially dead until they are literally dead -- but that didn't happen.
They have a civically retarded view of how this is all supposed to work. An 8 year old's view on life. "I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT IT'S NOT FAIR THAT YOU DID IT MY WAY IS THE ONLY WAY."
You can thank the GOP giving up on the culture war decades ago and allowing the left to always have their way for this. There are entire generations of leftists out there that have NEVER seen any pushback to their retarded fucking cultural changes. The very idea of conservatives having input in the culture is unthinkable to them.
