That's been a suspicion I've had for a while -- that their grand mail-in ballot scheme isn't going to work, and if they try to cheat they're going to get caught red-handed.

So now they're screwed. People don't have to like Trump, but trying to justify a vote for Biden (and by extension, Harris) is ... well, it's a lot like the bizarre perambulations you see in lolcows trying to justify their deranged behavior. To make matters worse, no one is going to forget the riots and looting any time soon -- and Trump needs to pound Biden and the Dems on their record regarding said civil disorder.

All they have are veiled threats at this point -- which frankly should be legally and criminally actionable, but I'm not a lawyer.

Not quite. There is a saturation point for any one form of voter fraud. A point where any one who actually looks at it can spot it quickly. You can sneak through a hundred, two hundred, maybe even a couple thousand votes. But enough to swing anything but the closest of races? You need a lot to pull that off, and even more if everyone is gearing up to scrutinize the election before it even occurred.

You know this is a good point. People were already calling bullshit on them for "finding" ballots in local elections, if they try to do it on a nationwide scale it's going to be a lot more obvious. Though I think that might actually be the plan... cheat flagrantly and blatantly, and when called on it just claim Trump and the Republicans are refusing to admit they've lost the election and now have to be overthrown.

It's transparent and pathetic but that tracks with every other plan they've launched lately.
