Couple quick snappers on Russ' filing:

I wonder if, since he filed it on day he was sentenced, he is claiming the 50 monthly payment he has to make due to a criminal fine as to one of his expenses to waive filing costs? LOL I guess it depends if he filed it before his hearing or after.

Also, note the title of proceeding. He named Kiwi Farms, "a website". Obviously that is not the corporate name so he already has screwed up on naming correct parties.

Imagine if you will. You just got stomped down in a criminal proceeding where the judge was going to even be harsher on you than the pre-arranged deal you took. Then judge says he wants you to have the protection order in your possession before 5pm. Like he wasn't even going to give one nite of possibly continuing harassment of the victim. You'd think most people would be feeling pretty sick to their stomach and maybe regretful, sorry, upset, scared or whatever. But nope. not teflon Russell Greer! He probably skipped down to the office to get the order and filed his latest legal masterpiece at the same time!

Forgive me for asking something I could re-read 2300 pages to recall, but what fucking copyright? The books he wrote that he accidentally released on Amazon preview? Certainly not the free music he has on every platform.

Any legal eagles willing to explain all the ways his lawsuit will not succeed?
This may help. Here are the 4 threads in chronological order where Russell has reached out to Josh about content on the Farms:

The only thing I can think of are the pages/text from his stupid books, and even then it might be protected under "fair use" since it's for the purpose of criticism/commentary.

So, couple thoughts after the reality of Russell's latest fuckup has had time to be fully digested. Glad recording and transcripts were made. :drink: to those that looked after that for the rest of us!

I like horrifying my mid-20s adult daughter with tales of Russell's lunacy and was playing the court recording portion where the victim's lawyer was regaling about Russell's chivalrous actions in attempting to woo her client. She did sound somewhat shaken when she was reading the title of Russell's book. I hope the judge was listening intently and picked up on that as she could have been more clearer in stating that Russell wrote the damn book! I hope he had a clerk look it up online to see if Russ did write it!

Either way, Russ really did get nailed a bit on this. That psych eval could certainly recommend that Russ needs treatment, or potentially banning from social media. It all depends what Russ says in the evaluation. I hope he has someone who comes across as quite sympathetic and understanding so he can be lured in to feeling comfortable to let his guard down and be open and honest on his true feelings and thoughts. He has an ugly mind and I hope the evaluator uncovers most of what goes on in his messed up head as surely they will see he needs treatment or some kind of monitoring or control or something to deal with his warped brain. Could he be prescribed medications as a result of the evaluation? Does anyone know with any specificity exactly what the evaluation components are (written tests, verbal conversations, subjected to certain stimuli, ink blot tests (LOL), how long it will take, etc) that Russell will be subjected to?

The other big deal is the 18 months probation. That is a long time in Russ Years. I mean look at all the shit he has gotten into since this thread started 40 months ago. Surely there will be many fuckups that are still to come over the next 18 months, UNLESS his evaluation shows that he has no concept of understanding his errors or recognizing that what he thinks should be the way things go doesn't mean they HAVE to go that way. Surely the evaluator will have much of the info we all know prior to seeing Russ or will his knowledge be confined solely to this situation and whatever Russell may divulge? Pray that someone fucking competent is assigned and searches Russell online (hopefully finding this thread!) and truly gets to understand the full picture of Russell Greer and his severe mental difficulties like all of us here on the Farms can clearly see.

Yes, that was the other thing I caught. Russell also has 28 days to appeal. Now, while I assume that will not happen, with Russell's astute legal abilities you can never be sure. I mean he technically "appealed" his "no contest" plea and now has ended up with a guilty plea, and with worse conditions. So, maybe he understands that subtle dynamic and has enough common sense not to actually appeal. But with fucking Russell, I wouldn't be overly shocked if the idiot did just that.

Anyway, the option is on the table for a few more weeks. Come on Russ, prove what a real mad lad you are and appeal that damn Judge's bias order. LOLOL In fact, sue the entire participants of that zoom hearing for discriminating against you. Even your own lawyer! You took on Taylor Swift man, this group are mere pawns for you to knock over with that superior legal knowledge and mind!

We *have* to get our hands on that psych evaluation. I assume that someone can go and search the court file and view it? Here our courts are pretty much open, save for sealed or confidentiality purposes, and court documents are a matter of public record. I once had to do research on a huge case and when I requested the file, it was four bankers boxes! LOL Anyway, that has to be a mission that must be carried out. Ohhhh, @The Dude think that is something you'd be willing to take on man? Your stealth photos of Russ's hacienda leads me to believe you like yourself some Cloak & Dagger shit! Seriously, someone needs to try and obtain it though.

Finally, I don't believe the audio recording from the Utah Courts of Russell Greer's sentencing for harassment, stalking and preying on women and females is saved here on Kiwi Farms. So here it is.

Glad to see that I wasn't the only one who noticed that Erika's lawyer sounded disturbed when she read off bullet points on butternut's antics.
And it bears mentioning because this was what was discussed in the hearing. I can't even begin to fathom what Mena saw/heard in private consultations with Erika or Skordas along with whatever research she had to do to acquaint herself with the case.

that is absolutely not how it works and you can literally eat shit you gimpyfaced retard

put this in your lawsuit cuck

Lololol!

I wonder if this epic sendoff from Null is in the lawsuit?!

Anyways, Joshua was kind enough to provide Russell with the exact address to send a lawsuit several times, but I would t be surprised if ol’ ratface STILL somehow manages to fuck it up.

This lawsuit will be epic. Epic as in epically lulzy, obviously. Russell doesn’t have a leg to stand on.

Wasn't it Skordas?
Yep. I am not sure how serious he was. But Null said he offered his services to him. Could have been said jokingly. Not sure if would be good look for him to rep owner of site that allows free speech and hosts the CC vid! LOL

I don't think Null has too much to worry about and wont need Skordas. Russ is a moron, he won't be able to effect proper service anyway. How the fuck do you serve a website?? HAHA

I thought originally he was going to sue for defamation; he might have had a better case there depending on what comments he was talking about (but even then, good luck on him getting the IPs).

Yup. His copyright lawsuit is literally the dumbest step he could have taken, and shows how little Russell understands of legal matters.

Which specific copyright infringement is he suing about? The links to the songs he has uploaded on streaming services?

His book? Excerpts of which have been critiqued and published under fair use?

Maybe the links to download the book illegally? Oh wait... He’s suing the wrong party!

Umm, I think this might be big news.

So I thought I would do a quick Google search just to see if my attempt at SEO in my earlier post about the audio recording being available on here came back. I almost didn't see it before I went to Page 2:

Anyway, head over to PACER, here is the summary, the doc is sealed but looks like he is trying to waive filing fees.

Here is the full title of proceedings:
Russell G. Greer v. Joshua Moon and Kiwi Farms
Case Number: 2:2020cv00647
Filed: September 16, 2020
Court: US District Court for the District of Utah
Presiding Judge: Tena Campbell
Nature of Suit: Copyright
Cause of Action: 17:0501
Jury Demanded By: None

I know @Null doesn't like being tagged, but I assume under circumstances he might like to know Russell Greer has filed a legal proceeding against him and Kiwi Farms for $5.3 million. Note that he filed in Utah! Mr. Skordas anyone???

Well that was an unexpected find! :story:
This is as funny as the $25 million dollar lawsuit against Twitch for having promiscuous streamers :story:

What a retard, are there any punishments for him suing us and it getting thrown out or is he good even if his case is horseshit (as usual)?

Can't wait to see him lose either way :story:
Not sure about utah but most courts have the power to declare a person a vexatious litigant. It means they're restricted in what they can do in a specific court and usually have a case management judge assigned to them that decides if the legal action has any merit before letting it continue. It usually only happens if they make multiple shitty legal actions in the same court, so unless russ keeps bringing forth more shitty copyright lawsuits they'll probably just throw this one out and be done with it.
