JK Rowling’s latest book is about a murderous cis man who dresses as a woman to kill his victims - Discuss all the JK Rowling tranny shit here

Best of all, she probably is only dimly aware of the ruckus she stirred. All those troon screeching about trying to cancel her would probably have zero effect and 100% outs them as the misogynist idjits they are.

I think she is aware of the troon crusade against her and I assume she is emotioanlly affected by it . She wrote a long post some months ago and the word "Twitter" is mentioned five times by her.

The link to the post is here: https://www.jkrowling.com/opinions/...ns-for-speaking-out-on-sex-and-gender-issues/

But does it affect her otherwise? Probably not, since her wealth makes her basically uncancellable. This of course doesn't apply to your average Joe and Joanne. I just saw some weeks ago how a young black girl lost her job for posting gendercritical stuff on twitter.

Some updates to the book

I've read now a quarter of the book and I'm increasingly more amused how much outrage this book stirred among troons and their allies. In the last 10 chapters the serial murder is rarely mentioned and I had to look very hard to find something "offensive". Tbh I didn't find anything remotely offensive from chapter 13 to chapter 24. I think the people of current year could make a much better case that Rowling is racist and a colonialism apologist than a transphobie.... but hey, don't ask me, I'm always a year behind the newest woke takes. I just learnt today that D&D is problematic in some woke circles.

I honestly can rant for pages about how idiotic it is to have "woke" takes on D&D, but yes, it has been problematic for quite some time.

It's all very tiresome, to be honest.

The tonepolicing is really insane. Twitter seems to be the worst of them all. The wokecrowd will eventually cancel everyone, they don't realize that this can happen to them too.

As for Rowling, I'm living for the image of her sipping on her expensive drink of choice, in a 2000 £ dressing gown smiling as she calls her accountant as these tards and troons holler in Twitter to cancel her. Boohoo

Tiresome is an undererstimation. It's incredible that ten years ago you could consume culture without thinking about its "political and social implications". Now everything is politicized and it has gotten so far that even I watch sometimes a movie and think "of course the black man is the taxi driver".

Edit: Just compare these two articles from the same site: This one in 2015: https://mashable.com/2015/07/31/jk-rowling-badass-tweets/ J.K. Rowling is a feminist hero! and now: https://mashable.com/article/harry-potter-things-to-love-without-jk-rowling/ J.K. Rowling is a transphobic piece of shit! Don't forget that Rowling was one of the worst wokescolders on twitter and even called Pewdiepie a Nazi. This is why you never play with the woke mob. Sooner or later they will turn against you.

The tonepolicing is really insane. Twitter seems to be the worst of them all. The wokecrowd will eventually cancel everyone, they don't realize that this can happen to them too.

That's their problem. They can't see that trying to tone police everyone will eventually lead to a backlash. When the backlash is coming (As it already is. The fact that J.K.. Rowling, who was a member of the woke mob five years ago, is now considered the number one enemy of the troons is telling) they will still claim that it's the fault of "right wing propaganda". No, you brought this on yourself. Somebody (I don't know who anymore) once said something like "Everyone is conservative about the things they love". When everything becomes problematic then sooner or later things that you cherish will become problematic according to the woke mob. So there is a breaking point for most people and once they reach this point it often doesn't take a lot of time until people get deradicalized in other aspects as well. It's not unusual that a intersectional feminist reaches #peaktrans and starts to question other beliefs as well ("Since I was wrong about troons, maybe I'm wrong about white supremacy as well?").

BTW I just saw this sticker and I think it's great:

J.K. Rowling + troons flag => troon genocide confirmed.

lol Yes, Hyde is apparently a vicious raper of several women. Allegedly. And still got work after it was known, though they pulled him off that show The Ranch when a big enough stink was made in the press.

I like the theory that this latest JK book, which is a "900-page doorstopper" was actually meant to be used as kindling. lolz. Joke's on you, TikTok tards. She still gets paid whether you read it, burn it or wipe your manginas with it.

Has anyone here actually read the book in full? I read an article claiming that the serial killer it features isn't a cross-dresser per se, but at one point disguises himself with a woman's coat and a wig to dupe a victim. Of course, I haven't read the book, so I don't know which representation is closer to the truth regarding the book's contents.

So basically she wrote a book about a movie that was made some 40 years ago.
No. It's not that at all.
I decided to finish the book. I read it all.
The serial killer has less than 2 paragraphs of described (troon) sexually deviant behavior. IN ALMOST 900 PAGES OF MATERIAL.
1) He jacked off in stolen panties while watching women undress next door. Literally 2 sentences describe that.
2) He dressed up like a woman in order to abduct a victim. He admits to intentionally looking 'queer' because in the 70's counter-culture, queers were seen as 'safe'. Now we know better. Perhaps the troons are mad about that illumination?
The serial killer DOES abduct, torture, and rape @6-10 women. None of this while 'trooning out'. He may/may not be an autogynophile (sp?). He's a serial killer in jail. Actually, he's not THE villain of the book. The point is FIGURING OUT WHO THE VILLAIN IS.
Here's the plot twist: The serial killer DID NOT KILL THE FEMALE DOCTOR IN 1974.
The suspected 'queer' serial killer only got one confirmed kill added to his k/d ratio. He was already credited with it, but they find the body. Someone that made NO difference to the plot, sidenote at best. The REAL Doctor-Killer and their methods are described in detail-last 25 pages.
The book reads like the newer BBC Det-fic. Which is bad. I won't spoil it, but I felt cheated.

Me. ask me anything in DMs. I don't wanna shit up this thread (more).

What JK Rowling has been speaking on is biological sex, a.k.a, material reality; yanno, males have a Y chromosome and females don't, which results in profound and immutable differences in their respective phenotypes etc. and all that. Rowling, as is the case with most "TERFs", has said nothing about gender/sex roles or how one should conform to them (to my knowledge). I can't figure out if these troons genuinely don't see that they are arguing at cross purposes with her, or if they deliberately ignore that fact because they know, deep down, their ideology is built on a house of cards.
To be fair, the presence or absence of a "Y" chromosome is not always what determines if one is male or not. There are rare cases in which a woman is born with all the trappings of being female with external female genitals but they are genetically male. Same as the men who actually have two X chromosomes. This has no bearing on their psycho-sexual development so it's not like these people turn out to be trannies or anything.

And I would wager that the majority of these troons that are complaining don't actually feel like they're a woman trapped in a man's body or the other way around. They're doing so because it makes them feel special and it gives them certain rights they can use to bully others.

Literally no horse in this race. The trannies and terfs can fucking kill each other.

It was a very good twist at the end, wasn't it?

The troon sperg about this book becomes funnier the more I think about it. Troon brigade falls for the lie that the killer is a man dressed as a woman, throw a massive public tantrum which garners the book extra publicity sending it rocketing to the top of the best seller list, and it turns out there is a good reason for the troons and their enablers to be nervous of it....

The killer is a woman with Munchausen by proxy, and I bet she was inspired by mothers who troon out their kids.

I'm not trying to shit up this thread, but no, actually. There are about 2-3 incredibly rare cases of intersex where a genotypical male develops with some mix of female and male internal reproductive organs, and sometimes with a mostly female-differentiated, external phenotype as well; Complete Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome, Swyer Syndrome and Persistent Müllerian Duct Syndrome.

However, there is no form of intersex currently known to us where a human with a Y chromosome has a fully-functioning female reproductive tract, a.k.a. one that can produce female gonads, menstruate and give birth.
Also, there is no such thing as a person without a Y chromosome who develops male reproductive organs.

Also, as you said, such conditions really have nothing to do with the troons, who are mostly normal men and women, albeit with some psychological or neurological illness, and using rare forms of intersex to disprove sexual dimorphism and reproduction (which I often see them do) is like pointing to the presence of babies born without legs as "proof" that humans aren't a species that walks upright.

Perhaps they believe they'll be seen as being impartial? No skin in the trans game, so to speak. Just riding the SJW moral high ground.

Yet again, it's men advocating for men who want to be women. Then talking over actual women who dare to have an opinion.

It's sick.

On the other hand, when it comes to optics this is doing the TERFs' work for them. Once again - as this has been stated in the thread here dozens of times before - the TRA crowd have absolutely no footing outside of Twitter. The anti-trans interviews and such which have been all over British TV recently are doing wonders to keep it that way.

It was a very good twist at the end, wasn't it?
Well.... I feel kinda.... robbed.
There was really no way of discerning that twist. It came out of left field. I didn't have a chance to figure it out. Strike got sick, but the flu was going around the office, and he ate chicken 2 days out of date. Not enough information to understand the killer's relationships with the doctor, either.
Just like modern BBC Det Fic. At least with the old-school Det Fic you could take a crack at whodunnit.
But it was surprising, and entertaining that the killer divulged their COMPLETE history of mayhem and horror over 40 years.

Entertaining- yes, Satisfying -no. Entertainment is the goal, so it get's a VERY HESITANT Thumbs Up from me.
3/5. Skippable, but ok.
