You're on the right track, but he definitely thinks he can win each lawsuit he files. He files lawsuits out of bitterness and a desire to hurt people he believes have wronged him. Each time he's sued Taylor and when he sued Ariana, he was posting every day about how he was going to end their careers and ruin their lives. He sees lawsuits as a way to punish people, like a grown up version of whining to a teacher or parent. Russell is a narcissist, and he thinks not giving him what he wants is unfair and an offence worthy of punishment. While he was hoping that his lawsuits against Taylor and Ariana would make him famous, he still felt as though he had been wronged because in his ego-ridden skull he honestly thinks it should be a crime to say no to a disabled man.

That's right. When you originate an action or a proceeding in court, you need to pay a filing fee which is in essence an administration fee to open the file. In our jurisdiction you also have to buy a stamp from the Barristers' Society and affix it to your original. It is a way to generate added income for the Society. It costs $25+tax.

In lieu of filing fee, the court will file your claim if you can prove you are unable to pay filing fees due to financial hardship. So, when you file your claim, instead of paying you submit this application that then needs to be approved or signed off by someone in authority like the prothonotary or a judge. So, until that is decided, the lawsuit is not filed pending the outcome of the poor boy request. If approved, upon filing of the order granting, the statement of claim will be entered and we will then see it! If not approved, Russell will have to pay the bucks so who knows how long that might take. I am almost tempted to send him the $400 myself just to prevent any delays with us laughing our asses off any longer than we need to!

Actually come to think of it, if he is crying poor to the Utah judge and going on a monthly plan to pay his criminal fine, how would that look to the Utah Court if he does have to pay to go after Josh and does so fairly quickly? Assuming they become aware of it. The guy has not one lick of sense or foresight about what certain actions he undertakes will have an adverse effect on his life. He truly is the Golden Child and Chosen One when it comes to insanity and stupidity.

There wont be any proceedings. Greer is most likely too stupid to know he has to pay someone to properly serve Jersh. International Service is especially a bitch, particularly to whatever slavic shithole dear leader is living in this year.

Also, when it comes to service there are certain rules depending on the country that you need to serve the document in. There is the Hague Convention which exists that deals with international service. I remember having to effect service on a corporation in Germany and I had to hire a certified translator to have the document translated in to German. Then it had to be sent over there, very little communications between me and process server in Germany and had to wait a fair amount of time for the return of the affidavit confirming service. I think all told, from time I started process to serve defendants to when I received confirmation that service was effected was about 3 or 4 months. Cost for translation, service fees, fed ex etc. was about $3000CDN.

I don't know what country Josh is in but knowing which one then it can be determined exactly what Russell would need to do to have Josh personally served. That is assuming Josh does not have someone in the US that he has authorized to accept service on his behalf. hey Josh, maybe you can tell Russell you give Taylor Swift authority to accept service on your behalf!

This is great! Lucas Werner was mooing about suing Kiwi Farms too. Well, at least until some fellow hobos stole his phone and he has to wait for his next tugboat to buy another one, since he is a fat tard and a hobo. He has been dark for about 3 weeks now.

Unlike Russ, Lucas will probably never follow through with it. Lucas is way too dumb to try and do any of this on his own as well as being too lazy. Lucas one time said he thought the government would provide a lawyer for him, which is of course completely untrue.

Not sure which of those cows is worse. They both are dumb, but Lucas is way way more lazy. Lucas is too much of a coward and way to lazy to try and do anything like filing a law suit on his own. Shit, yes, you are right indeed. Josh is personally named as a defendant. Thus Russ has to serve Josh personally or on someone Josh authorizes to accept service.

We still got awhile to see how this is going to play out. Next event will be the decision on filing fees. Once we know that, it will then be wait for Russ to cough up the 400 or if he has fees waived, then we should get to read the craziness. Hope some Kiwi Farmers get named in the proceeding. Did someone mention when he posted that page a while back showing he was possibly going after KF/Josh, did it say 1/104? If so that will be plenty of pages to laugh about. After the claim is finally revealed, then the next event *should* be a filing of proof of service on both defendants. However, that wont happen for sure since the legal entity is not named, a website url basically is. So, after the claim is filed, the next event will be the inevitable request for an extension of time to serve. Or if Russ realizes his error, then he will file an amended claim to strike Kiwi Farms and add the proper corporate defendant. Sit back folks, this one will be ongoing for a few months more before we know what goofiness he tries to effect service on Josh personally.

Again, what country is Josh in? I'd like to see if they are in the Hague Convention or what the requirements would be for Russell to have service effected. Also, since Josh is an American by birth, and depending on Josh's "resident" status where he currently is, Russ probably wouldn't have to have the doc translated now that I think about it. Just back to my jurisdiction regarding service, I am pretty sure a motion was also required on the case I was involved in to actually get an order to allow for ex-jurisdictional service. It was a fair amount of time ago so its kind of jumbled recalled. In any event, if Russ also has to make an app for ex-juris service, that will be an additional cost perhaps. He still would need to pay Fed Ex charges, and quite possibly need a translator if the company he will need to hire to effect service doesn't speak English! Either way, it isn't going to be cheap to even make the effort to serve Josh, let alone actually successfully effect service on him. Being in Canada, I only have my knowledge of how it works up here when it comes to certain legal proceedings and discussions, but I assume there are some similarities with how it works in US. But rely on @AnOminous and the other great KFers with the legal skillz and knowledge when it comes to the minutiae and processes of how things go in a US proceeding.

However this all goes down, just more hilarity to go hand in hand with his criminal case. Going to be a fair amount of Russ' crazy legal antics discussed here for a bit I think.
