I may have noticed this in a clip of one of Choco-sensei's quizs, she asked Kanata a question about who was Hong Kong returned to in 1997 and Kanata dodged it by passing. Kanata scored really high, probably the highest score in Hololive so I highly doubt she didn't know. She knew random trivia like who invented the x-ray (Rontgen) and the world's deepest lake (Lake Baikal - where the fuck is that?).
