Too true...when you’re a really wonderful person, you influence people’s opinion of your appearance. It’s like a positivity aura that bleeds out and affects the outer layer as well as the inner. It’s like how even when your mum gets very old, she never seems that old to you compared to other people’s mums, because you love her. It’s why you think of your friends as being funnier than others, because you like them.I'm not going to post that fucking Shel Silverstein thing about inner beauty reflecting outward for the eighteenth time so I won't but it never stops ringing true.
Chantal could have the body of a supermodel and she'd still only be right for one place: the sideshow.
Chantal could overcome just about every flaw if she a) got decent manners and hygiene and b) was a stellar person who truly wanted to make others happy. I don’t know what the science is on it, but you can read some of people just by looking at them, and know that they’re the kind of person who thinks nasty thoughts about others all day and only cares for themselves. Something in their eyes and expression when they’re out and about.
Chantal looks like that.
