Allow me to pose a hypothetical.
BT has never had any success, in anything. No girlfriend. No family. No lucrative or personally fulfilling career. No gym gains. No sex life. No real friends he bonds with. He's miserable, depressed and probably quite lonely. He is a 100% beta male dweeb.
He finds anime. A hobby crammed with people exactly like him. Nobody takes the piss out of him. Nobody calls him a dweeb or a faggot. Nobody stuffs him into a locker. He makes being an anime fan his entire life. All of his disposable income goes to anime or anime related toys and accessories. Somehow, without even trying he finds himself rubbing elbows with the kings and queens. This is literally one of his biggest accomplishments.
And now big mean Vic Mignogna, a charming handsome pretty boy who's only fault appears to be the inability to say no poon, launches a lawsuit against his queen. He takes it personally. The closest thing he has ever had to a relationship is under threat. So he goes into defensive mode. No matter how stupid it all is, everything the defendants say must be right. Because if they are wrong, the only positive thing he has in his life is going to be destroyed.
