Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

Other than Kathryn Tewson "lawsplaining" to @Ron Toye (hilarious, considering she's not a lawyer. Hell, she's not even a paralegal, which puts her below Russell Greer), nothing we didn't know already.
1. Ron's "receipt" that he plans on "exposing" Stan Dahlin with is fat nothing burger that has no bearings on the case whatsoever.
2. Tewson thinks this "RedRisembool" user has an account here. If they do, they haven't made themselves known. Seems more like jumping at shadows.
3. Them chortling over getting blocked shows their hypocrisy (something that was touched on earlier in this thread).
4. "I'm a pedantic dick." There's already a Twitter troon that already beat you to the punch, Tewson.
5. Then there is Ron's cockamamie statement that Vic "wanted to be hired by Funi one day and secretly fired the next."
I seriously doubt those were the settlement terms Vic laid out to Funimation (why the hell would Ron know this?).
6. "He was in no position negotiate..."
I have no words.
7. More KickVic propaganda that Vic wanted to sue to ruin the reputations of Funimation, Monica, Jamie, and Ron.
No. He wanted to contest that these parties not only defamed him, but these parties also were actively interfering with his contracts.
8. "What he needed was therapy and a good PR team"
AGAIN WITH THIS DRIVEL!!!!!! Ron and Kathryn, Vic didn't need therapy because there was nothing wrong with him! And a PR team is ineffectual to Cancel Culture, you dolts! Your KickVic cadre made sure of that! There is no rehabilitation or forgiveness in Cancel Culture, no matter how much you kiss the boots of your accusers.

Ron may be continuing to erode/ruin privilege for his side. Most likely point #5 is that Vic demanded Funimation rehire him and give him back his positions. Because...why not demand that? It's what he wants, everyone knew going into mediation that the morons on the defense were too cocky to agree to anything, might as well take a gamble and ask for what he wants. Ron's stupid, so his translation to that would be "Funimation hires him and then immediately quietly fires him" when he doesn't realize that mediation would cause Vic to drop the suit, and therefore not cause TCPA to be granted, and thus leave the option on the table for Vic to again sue Funimation if they broke the terms of the settlement. Which is the point of a settlement, as far as I understand. (and I'm pretty sure why you DON'T do mediation at that point in a lawsuit, because it serves the defense better to just wait for TCPA instead)

The reason I say he my be ruining privilege for his side is that he's showing that they may have communicated their terms with each other. IDK if discussing mediation terms with other defendants (filed separately) would compromise the privilege, but there's probably a good argument to say that if it doesn't because they're represented as a unified block as far as the court is concerned, Ron spilling those details is the same as them spilling them, meaning he's waived his protection not just for himself but for everyone.

So, you know. Good job being a literal 2D cartoon villain who hoists themselves by their own petard because their entire personality is 'stupid evil', Ron.

They're not married, but Monica doesn't seem to mind that Ron is hitting on all her friends and is looking at other women on OnlyFans, Instagram, TikTok.

What a sad, horrible relationship between two shitty people. It appears malice is all they share between them.

I just heard J Michael Tatum playing a British guy in some game called Grand Alliance and.....pfft good god its baaaaad
That's disappointing, I liked him in Spice and Wolf doing the half-British half-American accent, I think it's called a Mid-Atlantic accent, like John Barrowman has. It sounds just American enough to not sound like a shitty attempt at a British accent to us Brits, but it sounds British enough to sound British to the yanks.

Edit: Just watched the trailer and heard his VO work. Yeah, that's a fucking terrible accent, he really should've kept with his Kraft Lawrence one which, sadly, isn't even remotely British in that scene, I think he does the above-described accent during trade deals though, and Holo uses it constantly.

Is Ron trying to drag Funimation down with him? If so, keep up the good work, you pathetic little worm. We need some entertainment.
So Vic wanted to rehire by Funi in mediation for 1 day? @Svetlana any truth to this
I think @Svetlana said she wasn't at the mediation. Also, even if she was, I don't think she's's going to reveal what was actually stated. Better to let this pissant condemn himself with his mouth.

Well, to be fair, after you get public-shamed fired, betrayed and slandered by your "friends" for months on end in the worst public spectacle, I'd imagine you would probably need some therapy to deal with the loss of trust in other humans, anxiety, depression, etc.

Of course, I know this isn't what Ron is talking about. Fuck Ron. There is no punishment good enough for that sniveling weasel.

Edit: grammar
I wouldn't call it punishment, but a few rough, armed folks slapping him around would be damned funny. I've seen much harder men than him cry when it happens. Too bad it's not something likely, at least because if it happened and a recording of it was released, think of the memes.

Nice to know that even in DMs, the cucked soyboy never proved anything of his claim and simply repeated ad nauseam his bullshit and "his truth" while being extra creepy toward same-minded disgusting people that deserve heavy medications+therapy much more than Vic or anyone else. :feels:
If the mangina waived his side already due to the epic statements made regarding mediation, talking about that and other stooges parts most likely is gonna bite them all later, the smartass failed husband once again damaged himself further and is even dragging all other parties down with him, what a genious strategy, why didn't the other super lawyers&firms they hired think of that?! :story: :story: :story:

Ron said that in mediation Vic requested Funimation hire him for 1 day. Other than that, his DMs with Kathryn Tewson confirmed what we already knew, that she's a lonely housewife that is so desperate for attention that she'll simp a psychopath.

She's running ops for him on Twitter. They're chatting over the phone. He's flattering her and has asked her to move to Texas. Thank god she said no. Imagine being a kid and your married mom moves you across the country to be closer to the domestic abuser she met online.

Hey guys remember, absolutely no civil conspiracy going on at all.

Well, if it's details about mediation, Svetlana probably shouldn't answer that even if she knows. I kinda don't get it, though. Assuming it's true, was it intended to be a save-face sort of thing - Vic could say that the accusations are false because look, Funi hired me back? Even though he wouldn't actually be employed by them for very long? It's weird, though.

So Vic wanted to rehire by Funi in mediation for 1 day?

Vic probably asked Funimation to retract their statement about not working with him anymore, but there would be a silent understanding that they wouldn't cast him in anything. Maybe he might've been paid for an hour's worth of additional voices. Some minor thing that would give people the appearance that they were on good terms.

Yeah, that would make better sense than working for one freaking day and then getting fired without notice.
