This has been my exact journey since Floyd. From being wary of the police and not exactly liking them to now being behind them 100% despite all of the actual issues I have with the modern police state. I used to ask "Why the Fuck should a police department have an APC or an actual Drone" and then these riots happen and show me why.

These riots did the exact opposite of the intended goal and these idiots and the people who support them dont realize it.

That's because the anti police rhetoric has regressed to "defend the police unless convenient" and unregulated "community policing" which will isolate regular citizens. If they got their way, the only people with police will be the rich with private security. Police will be a luxury.

BLM has been counterproductive with their civil unrest for the long run. No policing means no investigation for murders, rapes, heinous crimes or general crimes. Police reform could've been resolved peacefully, but they didn't do that. Two extremes could happen: no police or a police state. Either goes against the foundation of America.
