That's a big reason why I avoid political or ideology groups of any kind on fb. Even ones I agree with. The echo chambers are strong. Very strong.

I don't believe in government-mandated segregation but I'm increasingly coming around to the viewpoint that private segregation is a desirable thing. Why shouldn't an HOA (for instance) be allowed to ban people of certain races (and that can include whites) from living in a neighborhood? There already are communities which discriminate against age because old people don't want to live next to young people, why shouldn't there be communities which ban whites, or blacks, or Hispanics, or any race assuming there is a demand for them? I'm not a libertarian by any means (I'm pretty much a lowercase national socialist) but a group of citizens should absolutely be allowed to get together and use their right to freedom of association to ban whatever races they don't like from their community.

The Fair Housing Act was a mistake, and I know there's plenty of blacks are getting equally blackpilled (heh) about it too hence why they're moving to segregate themselves from whites.

Allowing discrimination towards race will open up a lot of abuse and trouble. Say you do get your wish, what's stopping a landlord from not maintaining said property because it's inhabited by Mexicans or Blacks? That same discrimination is how these ghettos were formed. White landlords would buy land for cheap, and leave it to rot while giving the scraps to the lesser people.

I can't believe you're considering the idea of legalising discrimination in America when that was a problem here dating back decades.

Facts as laid out to the grand jury

1) The cops knocked on the door and announced their presence prior to entry
2) The occupants refused to answer their door
3) The cops then forcibly entered (as is their right under the warrant).
4) The cops were then fired upon by one of the occupants (the boyfriend).
5) The cops returned fire, inadvertently hitting Taylor (who was being used as a human shield by her boyfriend).
6) Taylor died


It's interesting that BLM single out bullshit cases like this to chimp out over. There are plenty of folk who get outright murdered by cops, including blacks.
I think it's deliberate. They know the cops will ultimately be acquitted, which fuels a second round of outrage and rioting.
The narrative is that there's a vast conspiracy of white supremacy that protects cops when they murder dindus.
It doesn't serve their emotional appeals to a low IQ demographic to campaign against actual bad cops, who are likely to be tried and convicted.

Why wasn't the boyfriend charged for endangerment then? I'm not saying it was a race issue. It's more of a police issue.

I do wonder though. Who has the control of "they"? They are apparently able to report with full confidence and exclusive coverage despite bodycam footage often being suppressed. Even taking into account the fact they are desperate for clicks. It would end up eroding trust in their brand. Any marketer worth his salt could tell you so. It just makes you more suspicious that the media is largely controlled.
 
Seattle announcement guy isn't as charismatic as Portland's but he's still doing his best. Smoke bombs/tear gas going off there now. Maybe a bit PL but I have a relative who works in a police department in up Washington. It's an administrative job and it's a ways away from Seattle but I still hope they stay safe and sane.
