🐱 Cardi B, Sister Get Sued by MAGA Supporters They Called ‘Racist’

Cardi B and her sister are being sued for assault, battery, defamation, and civil rights violations after an altercation on Labor Day weekend resulted in the two calling a group of beachgoers “racist MAGA supporters,” ABC 7 reports.

The rapper’s sister, Hennessy Carolina, posted a video of her and her girlfriend, Michelle Diaz, arguing with a group of individuals in a New York beach parking lot.

In the video, one individual is wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat, and another says, “Move your vehicle out of here.”

The two groups yell “shut the fuck up” back and forth, and Carolina says, “Get the fuck out of my face.”

“Bitch I got a strap,” Carolina says. “Yeah, I got a dildo and I’ll shove it up your ass and your husband’s ass.”

One of the group members, Peter Caliendo, told ABC 7 that he approached the two “nicely.”

“Very nicely said, you must not be from here because you don’t know the etiquette of the beach,” Caliendo said.

Cardi B tweeted on Sept. 6 that Carolina and Diaz were “harassed” because they are an “Afro/Hispanic gay couple.”

“I have the #1 song & yet my sister can’t go to the beach in the Hampton’s wit out trump supporters harassing,” Cardi B wrote.

You wanna know why joe gotta talk to me Candice cause I have the #1 song & yet my sister can’t go to the beach in the Hampton’s wit out trump supporters harassing cause they were by themselves & Santa Claus was harassing my sis GF all because they are a Afro/Hispanic gay couple https://t.co/OLQX2mrzbppic.twitter.com/ISfJStODme

Carolina said the group told her and Diaz to go back to their country and harassed them for “no reason.”

“How dare you sit here and yell and tell us to fucking leave and bother us and basically harass us,” Carolina said. “We move out of respect, and you still came, two men, to us and yell ‘get out of here, go to your fucking country’ because you saw us parking here and we were speaking Spanish and we’re mixed.”

The group’s attorney, John Ray, said that Cardi B, Carolina, and Diaz edited the video to falsely paint the group as racists, per ABC 7.

“Real threats of harm were made,” Ray said, per ABC 7. “They live in fear now. Their reputations have been ruined. We seek substantial damages.”

Idk if things like this make it a good or bad thing America is the easiest place in the world to file a lawsuit...
Yet one of the most difficult to win a claim of defamation.

Still, these were private citizens as opposed to Cardi B so I'm curious where it's gonna go. I'd like to see a thread on this case in the legal place forum.

Yet one of the most difficult to win a claim of defamation.

It's the "have to show you suffered actual damages from the lie" part, other countries dont' have that, they have the "it harmed my reputation" standards where if I say "Joe's a racist" and other people start calling him a racist, I have defamed him

The standard in the US means that just calling him a "Racist" on the street isn't enough, Joe has to show that people stopped doing business with him, refused to approve a loan, refused to take his work, or someone tried to break his windows specifically to "flush out the racist" before it's defamation, in essence, you can lie without penalty if nobody believes the lie, or, acts on it in a negative way.

That used to be impossible to prove, until the internet meant people would leave a trail of tweets or FB posts about how " I stopped seeing Joe because they say he's a racist" or "We'll get Joe fired for this for sure!"

Still, it's tougher here than anywhere else.

Yet more evidence that darkies have no business in human society and should fuck off back to monkeyland where they belong.
Funny you mention that...

In Africa, Ghana holds an event called "Year Of Return" where they welcome black people from other countries back to Africa. Ever since the riots and protests here in the USA, they have actually taken advantage of that by making it "Beyond The Return". Surprisingly (or not so surprisingly depending on how you look at it) there's only been around a thousand takers.

Credit goes to TL;DR (Teal Deer) for that info in his latest video

Just a reminder before fools start simping for the jester

Cardi B has so many lolsuits and bullshit with bloggers for 'shit talking and ruining her reputation' that it's just sweet karma that people being harassed by her and her sister are suing them for the same shit. Knowing how loudmouthed and ignorant Hennessy is she probably started it because one of them "looked at her funny."

So because Cardi B made a number 1 song that means her and her family are immune to anything and everything? It's almost like she considers herself a member of the elite and wealthy. But she's totally not guys I swear.

I wouldn't want Cardi B around me either. Mostly because she's known to drug and rob people.

Both of these are good things. Tort Law reformers are almost invariably corporate whores who want to make it harder for people to sue companies. Defamation laws should be at best anemic if you care at all about the freedom of speech. Calling someone a "racist" is not defamation. That being said, I can see the threats of harm angle going somewhere. And Jesus, these bitches are trashy.
