There is no right to asylum in a church, if the cops want to arrest some one in there, they are free to do so. The myth is based on an English law that was abolished in the 1620s, long before an independent America was even thought about.

Cops may choose not to arrest some one out of respect of tradition, but they do not need to.

The actual reason is because places of worship are exempt from the curfew.

I've watched enough pro wrestling to be afraid that after the election if Trump wins he'll come out and say that he was behind the riots all along, that he either bribed or threatened the democrat leaders to let the attacks happen and aren't we all just silly for believing the narrative.

Protesters in KY are being allowed on the sidewalk around the church kind of, but the police have them well and truly blocked it it looks like. And LMPD is streaming again.
