The liberal response i already knew. It will be funny seeing women dress up as the handmade tale to protest a woman being appointed to the Supreme Court

Oh well. Looks like I have a date with my Lagavulan tonight.

Anybody asking why I don't like her, I've explained it twice. Even gave a tldr on the previous page. I hope a) Trump knows what hes doing, b) he wins by a large enough margin we don't go through Gore v Bush 2: Electric Boogaloo. There will only be 8 justices if so.

I'll take my MATI and Optimistic stickers now.

I still don't think ACB will be the nominee. It's odd that all the news media are reporting on ACB being nominated as a sure possible thing, but plans can change. And it could be a set up...

Barrett makes sense. She's already been heavily vetted as a candidate when she was on the short list with Kavanaugh. Time and expediency is an issue here and most of the background work with her has already been done.

Makes sense to go with a woman to try and minimize sexual assault allegations. The sad truth is, after Kavanaugh, every single future male justice is likely to get hit with sexual assault accusations. Also, it keeps the general population happy that RGB is being replaced with a woman. (IMO is really doesn't matter as long as the Justice can do the job and meets all qualifications.)

Trump also needs to make up ground with Catholic voters, who are leaning Biden right now because he is supposedly Catholic. Not practicing and has been barred from Communion more than once, I believe, but watching the Democrats scream and howl about how evil Catholics are can only help Trump make up that ground. They might also help galvanize other Christians to get out and vote by how horrible they are undoubtedly going to be.

As a catholic I found it offer that there are a lot of catholics that are leaning Biden right now. Like dudes not a devoted catholic.

Also way am I not being polled wait now. I would proudly say I am a catholic voting for Trump right now.

Catholics' number 1 issue is abortion. The majority of them aren't going for Biden for that reason.
