Thats the point. It makes no sense for any of Digi's claims about wanting to contact this guy and why they are being so public about it if they actually talked to authorities and a detective. I found a rant Spicy Salts paid for asking about Digi's relationship/relationship advice. I think the most retarded scenario would be: Ronald was invited to Digi's house in the past maybe even visited before since he is a paypig and figured he was welcome anytime. Generally I agree. But consider this:

• People have almost certainly called up/emailed Conrad's local PD to tell them he's a pedo
• Conrad may have called them himself after some other incident of a YouTuber being SWATted, to tell them that he has people who don't like him on the internet who might call in a false report. If he did that, did he explain why people might dislike him?
• He's far from reticient about telling people that he likes jacking off to drawings of children being fucked

It's true that Conrad is in multiple protected classes- he's a tranny, he's a pedo- but while he'd get protection if this was some big media story, as long as he's just talking to some random VBPD cop taking his false report, he might not get the best advice in the world. An Australian man was just arrested and is going to jail for basically being Digibro.

An Adelaide YouTube gamer – who is facing jail for child exploitation material offences – illegally imported animated Japanese child pornography and streamed himself online having sex with a doll, a court has heard.

Judge Geraldine Davison on Tuesday told the District Court that Shane Andrew Lunnay’s use of the animated material – known as hentai – may have led to his consumption of real child abuse material.

The 35-year-old Parafield Gardens man has pleaded guilty to multiple counts of possessing and controlling child abuse material, as well as importing prohibited goods.

The material included photographs and videos – including of children under the age of 14.

Judge Davison said there was a “foundation” for the animated pornography leading to worse crimes because he was located with material depicting “real children”.

“Is this another example, perhaps, that one shouldn’t consider that anime, or hentai material, is harmless, victimless or any of those other words that are often used,” Judge Davison said.

She said Lunnay seemed to be “entirely immersed” in “hentai culture” and described his bedroom as an “entire fantasy world” covered in posters of young animated girls.

Judge Davison also said that Lunnay had live-streamed himself having sex with what appeared to be a doll, when he was aware that children were watching online.

He was not directly charged in relation to that conduct but prosecutors said it proved his offending was not isolated.

Lunnay’s counsel, Andrew Culshaw, accepted his client was living in an “unhealthy, deviant and illegal fantasy world” but said he had been undertaking rehabilitation therapy since his arrest.

He also said Lunnay had downloaded child pornography from an online chat website.

Prosecutor Pantelia Marinakis said Lunnay’s offending was “prolonged over a period of time”.

Ms Marinakis said he had told a psychologist that he had no past or present interest in child exploitation material.

Lunnay operated a YouTube channel called “Radical Dreamer Shane-O” where he posted hundreds of videos of him playing video games and talking about items he has collected, including stuffed toys and figurines.

He will be sentenced later this month.

As crazy as it sounds just cos it's legal doesn't mean you can't be charged for it (wrongly) I.e a friend has a conviction for a "cannabis syringe" - the cops, judge and lawyers all were quite ignorant in it and just let it go through. The lolicon I've seen has been pretty gross and I bet if you got caught with that shit they'd charge you for just actual cp. Unless you make a huge deal and show the relevant laws you can easily end up with a weird wrongful conviction out of ignorance of the law / system.
