The Handmaid's Tale was a set text when I was at school. It was standard feminist fare from what I remember - women = helpless victims, men = evil oppressors etc. etc. Pretty much eveybody disliked it.
 
I'm curious how the media is going to try and smear Amy. Having an adopted black kid who actually looks like a well behaved human basically shields her from racism claims.

I'm going to predict that they'll try to nail her for "covering up for known sexual harassers".

The black kid has clearly been indoctrinated in to white culture. By takimg care of him she has committed a heckin' colonialism.

Just watching the media and Dems today is quite honestly disgusting. On the same day they are praising RBG for her deep Jewish faith, but declaring Amy Coney Barrett’s Catholic Faith to be a Federal Crime. They are praising RBG for adopting 2 children, and claiming Barrett’s adopting 2 children involves some nefarious criminal activity. You can feel the racism radiating off these assholes. They are loathe some.

It's really ramped up since Rupert Murdoch's air thief kid took control.
I'm surprised Tucker is still on despite his ratings.

Fox News and Drudge both basically turned at the same time.
Though their departure from what made them popular results in a vacuum that creates multiple choices of outlets.

And I don't know if it means anything, but she's gonna be ramrodded hard by the Dems during the processing. If she doesn't come out with at least a temporary disdain for all that they stand for, I'd say that she has a lot of patience.
