Ottawa area snowfalls & storms can be... interesting; lots of heavy snow & the following day is generally sunny & bitterly cold. I can't see Chantal safely getting down the steps in front of her place, struggling across to her car, clearing the car of snow, as well as the area around the car; certainly not at her current weight. Unless she can inveigle Peetz into doing that, she may well find herself housebound for days or weeks on end, depending on how bad the winter is.

Also, in places like the one she lives at, there is a specific time during the day that the parkings get shoveled. I've lived where such arrangements are common & the company contracted to come in & do the parking lot usually has the managers post a time range - say from 0900-1200. If your car is still in the lot, they plough & remove snow from around the vehicle. It's not their problem if your car is still there, nor is it their problem if as a result, you have to get your car over mounds of hard crusty snow.

Ottawa Police also take a dim view of drivers who don't properly clear snow & ice off their cars - especially the windshields. If she gets out of breath simply sitting & trying to talk, I can't imagine her being able to scrape ice & remove snow from her car.

That would jibe with her less-than-half-hearted "I'm on a diet" farce last Monday. Her behavior this week, which has been wanton gluttony for gluttony's sake, replete with open-mouthed burps and copious wet farts, is not unlike the behavior she displayed in the week leading up to her hysterectomy dates. So, it is not out of the question. However, she usually can't help herself but to blab about it. It might really just be that she's exhausted from her "work" and just wants to laze around and pig out the rest of the week. She's done that before, too. So who knows; she does keep us in suspense...

I know we say this so many times that it has lost all meaning, but she is looking rough these days. Bloated, blotchy, haggard, semi-collapsed in her chair, with chest pains gas bubbles and labored breathing becoming frequent occurrences. We've really not seen her walk at all since she got the walker, many months ago. Even just a year ago, she looked a lot better and we thought she looked awful then. The deterioration is noticeable. So no matter when she goes to see a doctor, there is no way the doctor will have any "good" news for her at all. Nothing. What could possibly be good? Then, she will have to agonize about how much she wants to admit and how much she wants to murk things up.

At any rate, she sure hyped up her grand Vlogtober opening day extravaganza, so I am looking forward to one of her masterpieces. Whatever the reason for the wait, we ought to have plenty to talk about as the big day draws near...

They are both legal adult but they do not live in the adult world which is why their discussions are very reminiscent of two dumb teenagers talking in the school cafeteria. This may sound strange, but when Chantel said, “ I’m on a diet” before bringing out two families worth of food, I don’t think she meant to say it or even knew she was going to say it. I think it was like a tic, it just popped out and she even seemed momentarily surprised she said it. But as with all her tics, she continues on like they never happened.

Somewhere in her hollow, echoing mind, that phrase was bouncing around. Maybe her doctor told her to go on a diet or her mother or somebody mentioned it. So she burped it out without thinking, but I don’t think she ever meant to announce she was dieting, and her behavior since has been normal (for her ). Last diets have been announced with plans and fruit orders and talk, although no follow-through. I feel like this was just accidental.

If she does have any doctor appointments coming up, that may be why it was on her mind.

I agree that she is looking really bad. Filthy, zitty, getting Slaton features, her striped shirt is brown and crusty, like her teeth. She still gains weight rapidly. She hasn’t hit whatever weight she needs to be at so that 6k calories is just maintaining but at this rate, she’ll get there soon. Or more likely... never...

If she does make it through winter there is no chance that she’ll fit in that car by spring. Granny will have to upgrade her to an SUV. She probably already sits on the gearshift.
