They're just making Trump's point for him, aren't they? Someone else can make the "strange bedfellows" and "cuckservatives" jokes on this one.

Cindy McCain Joins Biden Transition Team Advisory Board
Wife of late GOP Sen. John McCain endorsed Biden’s presidential bid last week

Maybe its just because im drinking the accelerationist grape flavoraid but from what im reading on twitter most on whats left of the far right think trump is fucked. The polls show the whites have abandoned him and all his efforts to help non-whites leave the plantation arent working.

I know trump is the eval kineval of politics but this seems like one crazy stunt that wont work out for him.

the 'far right' is full of autistic retards who don't realize that polls underestimated Trump's share of the white vote back in 2016 as well. It's arguably more likely that white Trump supporters are more shy about their support, given that minority Trump supporters won't be so easily accused of racism comparatively speaking.

They also want to believe that Trump will lose (and will lose white voters particularly) because he hasn't gone full wignat and because he committed the mortal sin of wanting to appeal to minority voters as well.

Remember when McCain was the unholy spawn of Satan according to you guys?

All this does is show that politics is a big club that you're not a part of. I mean, people knew it even back then. But now it very naked and obvious to anyone with a few brain cells.

It's become a meme at this point, but that doesn't make it any less true:

Trump didn't make these people go nuts. He just exposed how nuts they always have been.

I guess this confirms le suspicions and shit that he might swoop Minnesota (which I do think will happen), but a cookie poll even if it is a fun tradition doesn't really determine shit.

I’d wager it’s a better predictor than half the “A” ranked polls Nate Silver weighs.

The black vote is the most important vote after all.

No, just the easiest to pander to, or the easiest to segment out into an identifiable bloc.

I've got a theory that government has reached the upper limits of how much it can benefit its citizens in an equal, liberal democracy like the USA. Things are generally going OK, in historic terms of living standards. But blacks (in aggregate) are the biggest, most identifiable segment where there's still huge room for improvement, across all metrics.

If you think about politics in terms of reformers vs conservatives, change vs status quo, the two parties' constituencies naturally sort themselves. The Reformers cater to people who still need things to change for them, and the Status Quo caters to those who are doing fine and want to keep doing fine. Everything else is optics, emotional appeals, and using FUD against your own base trying to motivate them to vote.

In the above paradigm, Hispanics are continually making the transition from "poor" to "OK living standard". However there's issues with immigration law which requires a Reform for them to feel secure in the country. That explains why Hispanics aren't a solid voting bloc for Democrats, and why Cubans who already have secure immigration status trend Republican.

Social or moral issues get categorized under FUD. They're always pitched as a threat which the other side represents to your well-being.

War/foreign policy used to cut across both halves of the electorate. However, in the post-9/11 world, the argument is which way you define individual threats against our nation. It can be used as FUD for either side.

Worth noting that the opioid crisis was hitting white communities hard during Obama's 2nd term, which led to an increased concern that those communities' standard of living was going down. Hence, Trump.

I don't know, it will just be really weird if Biden wins. Will it be the first time a candidate has won solely by virtue of "I'm not the other guy"? I can get it if many people don't like Trump, but what does Biden bring to the table? He's feeble with an unlikable running mate who are campaigning on shitty policies.

I'm not ready for a "Harris administration with Joe Biden". I don't know if anyone else is either.

Trump's audience are a huge voting block. In a Harris w/Biden admin, Trump supporters will probably shit on everything they do. Which most of us fear will be a complete breakdown of the country. I do think Trump supporters, unlike TDS sufferers, will at least give credit where its due if Harris does the occasional right thing. But she's such an unlikable personality and a bitch that she'll probably turn most folks away.

Because Harris is a neolib, she'll probably start to slowly back away from the woke regressives. I think they'll only yeet them under the bus if the mob does something so awful that no amount of spin will help. During the first year or so of the admin, they'll keep throwing bones to them. But I think the Dems even know that this group is a timebomb waiting to go off.

IMHO, the dems lose the way whoever wins. If Biden wins, they just prolong the collapse by a few years. It'll still be happening in the background. They might have won the battle but the right will win the war. But now it'll be legit counter-culture to be conservative. I know people joke about it, but a Harris admin will show just how out of touch the left really are. They've been bitching about shit for 4 years, now they can show us how things are supposed to be done.

Even if Biden makes it through a full term, which I doubt will happen, he'll probably lose re-election. mostly due to the policies that'll come out of his admin. And if Harris takes over, she has no chance in hell of winning re-election other than cheating or someone roping us into another War. People will see her as someone who didn't earn the position of president. She gamed the system and rode off the back of Biden.

The best scenario for the Dems is to lose gracefully, which is not going to happen. During the next 4 years, they need to regroup and align with what the local party wants. Probably not happening since I think the dems are going to keep on the path they're on until the party dies, they're forced to regroup due to outside forces, or someone takes over the party and shapes it like what Trump did.

Anyone else get a youtube notification for Bidens livestreams when you're not even subscribed to him?
Not as of yet. I've gotten only a handful of Biden ads on YouTube the last few months. The most political ads I've seen was Bloomberg last spring.

Most of the ads I get are the unskippable Dove lotion ads.

Obama winning a 2nd term denied them a grief session, but could you imagine if in March 2021 Biden stepped down and in 2024 Kamala lost re-election? The Woke Scolds would NEVER shut the fuck up about it. It wouldn't matter Kamala's policy successes or failures or anything. Harris' failed election campaign would be used for DECADES to browbeat America (and the world really, don't think Australia or the UK or Canada won't escape the atonement lecture) that they're irredeemably racist for removing a black woman in her prime.
