If Frank forced the door, or arrived with a weapon - it would be open/shut. The fact Frank was unarmed and said he wanted to talk (both of their jobs) and rang the doorbell makes it an issue.

Not to mention Boogie's tweets talking about how he isn't afraid of Frank and openly mocking him could be used as evidence that he did not in fact fear for his life. Add to that Boogie plainly stating he would enjoy killing Frank.... Yeah, worst case there is the court decides this was an abuse of Castle Doctrine to commit premeditated murder.

Did boogie tell frank to fuck off before shooting? Because the more time/warning boogie gave frank to get off boogie's property, the more it will look justified IMO. Especially if boogie has made it clear in the past he does not want frank on his property (which makes it look more like trespassing than just innocently ringing a doorbell) and wants frank to leave him alone.

As far as prior threats go, Frank has never said that he has any serious intention of physically harming Boogie. Unless there's something even worse on the newer interview, the worst shit I can recall from the last interview was him saying he'd sissify him and ride him around like a pig while making him squeal. He said it would be the "worst time of his life" but at no point said he was going to go there and physically assail him. It is all clearly high level trolling without serious intent.

I firmly believe that Frank would not have gone to his house had he not been goaded into it. Boogie was calling him a pussy and saying he wouldn't show up because he's a bitch and he's scared of going home in a body bag. Frank is not one to back down from any challenge or confrontation.

We'll have to wait and see once the interview comes out. So far there's a video of the interview on twitter where boogie is saying that he'll kill hassle

Something to note about self defense, castle doctrine, and why 'warning shots' are fucking retarded: If Frank had been concealed carrying and Boogie had not known that, though Arkansas's self defense laws may have allowed Boogie to shoot him dead right then and there, firing a warning shot immediately puts Frank in a completely valid position of self defense himself, and if he had shot Boogie dead, there would be a nearly equal or even greater chance of Frank walking away a free man than compared to Boogie shooting Frank dead.

Never fire warning shots, kids. It puts you on the back-foot in every possible way.
