5-2-607 would allow him to use that deadly force and not require him to retreat if he believed Hassle to be about to commit a felonious assault on him or another or murder him, 5-2-608 would allow him to use it in defense of his property if he reasonably believed Hassle would commit arson or burglary. 5-2-620 might come in to play if he'd actually been trying to break into the house. Doesn't really seem to cover that shouting match.
