Is that really a thing? I had an Indian friend in high school who didn't eat all that much curry but apparently his family did. The few times I visited his house, the whole place and everybody there smelled of coriander. I thought it was just coming from the kitchen.

It's very much a thing. There are some culinary additions that infuse the consumer with their smell, and curry has some of those ingredients.

No, it's literally just a thing. Garlic, coriander, cumin, and other dietary substances that are absolutely delicious do, in fact, cause you to exude substances in your sweat that are entirely detectable to the senses.

Just how much of the stuff do you need to consume for that effect, though? I thought I was big on garlic, but I don't think I ever had enough to make me smell of it (the wife doesn't like garlic so she would have pointed it out). Or does that only apply to the raw stuff?

Fun fact: Some people can eat garlic and then make MORE garlic smell. It has to do with how the garlic is broken down in their liver. So someone can eat just a bit of the stuff in spaghetti or whatever and two hours later the entire floor smells like someone nuked a whole bulb in the office microwave.

What’s the threads’ opinion on SJW being Cluster-B? Most of the time I’m hesitant to think that because there are so damned many of them. But then I observe their behavior and it’s the kind of jaw dropping self-centeredness, vindictiveness, and tantrums that’s even worse than the Cluster-B’s I’ve personally dealt with.
