The Tiananmen Square massacre was such bad optics for Deng Xiaoping that him and other officials stepped down after it. Kent state was nothing in comparison when comparing body counts. Of course being America it was considered a huge blemish in our history.

John Colin Hacker said Tuesday that he didn't feel any blame should be assigned in the death of his father, John David Hacker. The man was fatally struck by an SUV while crossing the 3900 block of Pacific Avenue early Monday morning.
