[My child] was born biologically male and initially indicated that he was “a boy who liked all girl things.” This past year, [she] has socially transitioned and now prefers the pronouns she/her and will be starting first grade soon as her authentic self.”
Another individual’s story hyped by the Biden Foundation, which was staffed by a host of former Biden aides, was a parent discussing their seven-year-old “gender non-conforming boy” who loves to watch drag race shows:
“My youngest child is a fabulous gender non-conforming boy who loves ballet and the RuPaul Drag Race show… At age 7 he is a powerful advocate for himself and other children just like him.”

Idk if they would choose to go to jail to rape some girl (I mean if they could actually get to rape a *girl* as in a child, of course they would, but I assume you mean a female), but knowing they are facing jail time and all they have to do to get to do their time with all females instead of males is to say “I’m a woman” and absolutely they would.

Having watched a couple of seasons of RuPaul Drag Race before it became too repetitive and fake, this series is completely inappropriate for 7 year olds. What the hell, parent? What part tucking, fondling breast plates, somewhat graphic talk about HIV and promiscuous sexual behaviour, or drug use without condemnation is fine for a 7 year old to watch?
And why is "watching ballet" listed as an example of what makes this kid "gender non-conforming"? Dear God...

I haven't watched RP DR so don't know how far it goes but I watched or very least were in the same room when my parents watched adult programs that touched adult topics quite openly. While my parents didn't allow anything too graphic, PC-13 to R was hardly unusual. Soap operas especially tend to touch some less kiddy topics. Mostly it went over my head or I didn't pay attention to those parts because it wasn't intresting to me, so I would imagine that being parents thought process. Sure it's not entirely kids appropriate but likely they wont pick on that and they might get kick out funny cloth and make up. It's not like that is fully unreasonable, great deal of adult stuff needs bit background info before you get it. Something like what HIV is isn't oblivious unless you know what those letters stand for and common ways to get it. A kid might pick that HIV is a bad thing and maybe an illness but unlikely get gay and sex connections.

Eddie Redmayne – a cisgender man who famously played the role of a transgender woman in 2015 – is standing up for author J.K. Rowling in the face of widespread criticism for her transphobic comments and tweets.
Redmayne told the Daily Mail that Rowling was receiving alarming “vitriol” on social media and he called it “absolutely disgusting.”

Redmayne played transgender painter Lili Elbe in the movie The Danish Girl, even though he is neither a woman nor a transgender person. He was nominated for the Oscar for “Best Actor” for his work in the film.
“The Danish Girl‘s struggle to portray Lili Elbe’s story magnifies not only the most glaring weaknesses of both Redmayne and [director Tom] Hooper, but also the cisnormative gaze of the transgender community,” wrote Carol Grant in IndieWire at the time.
“You get this in Redmayne’s performance, of course, only instead of approximating a single individual, he’s approximating femininity itself, ratcheting his exaggerated, nervous physical ticks to 11 when playing” Lili both before and after her transition.

I don’t disagree, but the context is 18 year old men who impregnated their 15 year old girlfriends and now have babies to raise, so how much danger do they actually pose to the community and does making them unemployable increase community safety? In some other US states they could get married!
The whole thing can be avoided by not fucking teenagers below the age of consent. That’s where my personal line is.
This change of law makes children and teenagers less safe than before, CA fucked up.

While society is beginning to become more aware of the existence of trans and non-binary people, the medical field still has issues with cisnormative language, especially in reproductive care.
Even at SIUE, a university that will take every opportunity to tell you how accepting they are of LGBTQ+ students, still has issues of cissexism in its health clinic. Both Counselling Services and ACCESS have, in my experience, been very gender inclusive, good about asking for pronouns and avoiding cisnormative language. However, I’ve recently noticed on the Health Service website that their reproductive care, such as contraceptives and pelvic exams, is still labeled as “Women’s Health.” Not everyone who needs gynecological care is a woman and I’m disappointed that they haven’t changed their terminology to reflect that.
I was assigned female at birth, but as a non-binary person, I don’t feel comfortable being called a woman. At times it even makes me dysphoric [discomfort caused by the discrepancy between one’s identity and their assigned gender at birth]. Since I’m someone who needs what this university calls “women’s health,” it feels pretty alienating that they box reproductive care into such binary categories. I can imagine it’s even worse for trans men. Due to that label, I don’t know if my identity or pronouns will be accepted if I were to make one of those appointments.
It may seem trivial or silly, but these kinds of concerns are extremely common among trans people. Trying to get any sort of medical care as a trans person is exhausting. You have to navigate around things like your deadname being on insurance, trying to figure out if it will be safe for you to disclose your identity to your healthcare provider and potentially having to find a new one if you make the wrong judgement. According to NPR, trans people have higher rates of preventable conditions, like HIV, due to lack of health coverage as well as inability to find a healthcare provider that will accept them.
A lot of my trans friends have expressed similar concerns about navigating healthcare. One said he was worried because his primary care provider also labels that type of care as women’s health; if he were to change his gender marker on his ID, he would be denied care.
A lot of college students, especially those who are far from home, rely on the campus health clinic as their primary care provider, which means if campus healthcare is not accepting, a transgender student would have a hard time finding somewhere else to go.
Transgender people have a long history of medical mistreatment. Many have experienced being denied care, receiving subpar care or being invalidated by healthcare professionals. The future of medical care for transgender people is especially uncertain due to the Trump administration’s recent reversal of protections against discrimination under the Affordable Care Act.
Due to this history of mistreatment, many trans people distrust medical professionals. The way to solve that is for healthcare providers to make an effort to be inclusive and use gender affirming language. For Health Service, that should start with removing the outdated label of women’s health and change it to something neutral, like reproductive health.

Solicitor Darach McCarthy told the court he was appearing as an agent for Kardashian’s defence solicitor, Michèle Finan, of Connolly Finan Fleming Solicitors, based in Arbour Hill, Dublin.
“Today is the first day of a remand,” McCarthy told presiding Judge Marian O’Leary.
Prosecuting Garda Sergeant Sean Moloney, of Roxboro Road Garda Station, said the State was “still awaiting the DPP’s (Director of Public Prosecutions) directions”.
“The file is still being prepared,” Sergeant Moloney added.
Last Friday, Kardashian also appeared in court. During that hearing, Garda Shane Kirwan of Roxboro Road Garda Station, Limerick, informed the court the accused was “born a male but identifies as a female”.
Garda Kirwan said he arrested Barbie Kardashian at 8.30pm last Thursday night, 24 September, and she did not reply to any of the charges.
Sergeant Moloney told the hearing that gardaí would make “strenuous objections” if the accused applied for bail.
Finan said her client “wished to reserve her position on bail” and she submitted to the court a certificate of gender recognition belonging to the accused.
Finan told Friday’s hearing that Kardashian was “very anxious she be detained in a prison facility for females, as she identifies as a female” and that her client “made some statements that she did intend to do some harm to herself”.
Finan said it was “a very complex case”, and that Kardashian would be “exceptionally vulnerable in a prison setting”.
The court has made an order recommending “all medical intervention and appropriate detention be given to [Barbie Kardashian] in the circumstances”.
