US First Presidental Debate - Boomerdome 2020

Details: The debate will be 90 minutes long and have no commercial breaks. There will be no opening statements, and instead Wallace will dive right in with the first question to Trump. It will be divided into six 15-minute segments that Wallace has chosen. They are:
1) The Trump and Biden records;
2) The Supreme Court;
3) Covid-19;
4) the economy;
5) race and violence in cities;
6) the integrity of the election.

After the debates a poll will be posted on who you think won this first debate. Have lots of fun, keep the commentary fresh as I'm sure we've all heard many of the same lines for months and enjoy the beginning of the end of this presidential election cycle. Just as a reminder, on October 7th there will be a Vice Presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.

I'm think we're going to see Trump end up having to debate Biden and the moderators but overall it won't be as entertaining as Biden fighting Trump at Wrestlemania or in a UFC match, might get a few fun zingers from it at least and a few nice memes.

Followed by endless shilling about how terrible Trump did and a few days of push polls showing Hillary Biden with a 46% lead thanks to his stunning debate performance. You know, what's happened every single presidential debate this millennium.

I don't think it's going be wild or a trying crazy but alot of folks are going to tune in to see if Biden really cracks.

I hope Joe gets all ornery and tries to come at the Prez. If Trump can needle Joe right and get him to lose his composure it could be a good show.

all he really has to do is confuse him, which is... his default state now. The schoolyard bully part of trump probably has thought of some really hilarious ways to fuck with biden.

Also biden has to stay on script, which he struggles with even when handlers are around. I've worked with dementia patients, and they more or less fall into two camps: people who are nice enough to go along with whatever is happening despite being totally confused, and those who get angry because they are confused and start shit with everyone. Uncle joe really seems like the second kind. If your family member is losing their mind it is actually kind of good for them to be the angry type because you find out right away that their brain is turning to mush, sometimes prompt treatment can keep things from getting worse.

I am dreading the dishonest media coverage way more than the debates themselves. Seeing a bunch of jackasses try to spin it whatever way they want has always been gross, but this year is going to be crazy.
