This is a common misconception. In criminal cases whether charges are pressed is up to the local DA, not the victim. The victim can refuse to cooperate, which functionally makes many charges unprosecutable, but that decision itself is not in their hands. Considering there are two videos, both of which the police likely already have assuming this is actually being investigated it wouldn't matter if neither hassel or boogie cooperate. There is enough for a DA to choose to prosecute assuming there is an appropriate charge. For that reason I REALLY don't think this is fake, if it was they would be taking a huge risk that the DA says fuck you fakers i'm prosecuting for something anyway. A shot went off, whether it was a blank or not, as proven by the police report.

Firing a blank in the air is still the same crime as firing a live round, there's no point in even doing that. Though it could have been a fake gun, again we don't know because all we've seen that boogies's heavily edited footage. But I don't see why you'd actually call the cops several times and risk getting in shit for doing a prank like this, which is also probably a crime.

Yeah, and gun shots can sound totally different just based on what's around and how it echoes too, and again, it sounds totally different in person. It's impossible to determine much with audio, since mics and compressors are all different and can be configured differently.

Very unfamiliar with Boogie, but i got sucked into this story and am absolutely fascinated


Isn't there a lawyer advising Boogie to get off the internet and stop making statements, stop releasing footage, stop tweeting, stop giving interviews, making videos, and reiterating to the world that he used deadly force in a situation that did not reasonably call for it?

this would have been less of a mess if he'd just shot Frank outright, and then called the cops and an attorney.

I'm actually struggling to figure out if this being real or fake is the more stupid option. If this is real, boogie is an absolute retard who needs a 24/7 tard wrangler and if it's fake and they fired a blank into the air, then boogie just became corn for Frank and Keem. What a shitshow.

Either way he wasn't defending himself. He went out of his way to make this situation worse for him well before the doorstep confrontation.
