Chantal had that weird short lived and insincere jesus freak phase a bit ago that I think was more than a little inspired by Sauce Queen's endorsment of her channel. That's probs where a lot of her religious fans come from.

I don't think there is any saga. She didn't necessarily do or say anything. Sauce Queen is a huge mukbanger and has mentioned that she loves Chantal many times. Sauce Queen says a prayer thanking Jesus before eating in every video, her husband is military, and they are definitely right-wing "Christians." (I put that in quotes because they are no way church-goers. They drink, smoke, swear, and tell gross stories). But I would assume a lot of Sauce Queen's viewers are typical right-wing Christians who found Chantal through her.

And Chantal did say something weirdly out of character like "I wake up every morning, look up at the sky, and thank God for my life" or something trite and vaguely religious a few months ago. I don't remember the exact quote. But I remember laughing at it. Then she never mentioned God or religion again.

Sadly this is a case where Peetz is actually in the norm. Many Canadians are more interested in the political situation south of the border than the politics inside their own country. It is very normal to be interested in the happenings of their biggest commercial partner and a superpower but in the end they do not live in the USA yet talk like they do. Their source of information is traditional media and social media which leans a certain way and they just parrot the same talking points like the simp does. Being staunchly opposed to stuff like firearms and religion would actually earn him praise from his fellow Canadians if he ever socialized which shows that he actually has some social skills unlike Chantal.

She's failed to provide those cats basic veterinary care in the past, including allowing the older one to linger for God knows how long with a mouth/jaw so painful she said the cat was unwilling to eat. She's made Peetz pay for vet bills before, while still binging daily, making it pretty obvious where her priorities laid. She doesn't brush them, and lets them get matted up enough that the only solution is to cut their fur off. She doesn't clean the litter boxes regularly, which is something that can very easily lead to UTIs in cats, as well as just general stress. Cats LIKE having a clean place to shit. She feeds them garbage pet food. They're both fat.

Do I think she's the worst pet owner in the world? No. But she treats her cats in a way I would never, ever dream of treating my own pets. I would classify Chinny as a severely negligent pet owner, personally.

It was they who reassured her that she wasn't being racist, and it was the SJW's who were up in arms. So, Chantal owes the Trumpers a favor. Therefore, it is rather rude and ungrateful for Peetz to then color all of them as racists. One could go into a very long sperg as to why it is intolerant and hateful to conflate being a Republican and supporting a current administration with abject racism, but that's a futile argument for another thread. I'm more interested in the simple hypocrisy of attacking her followers for bogus racism right after they just defended his "friend" from bogus racism charges. YouTube stardom is an ethereal thing. Many of the million-view titans of 2012 era YouTube struggle to get 10,000 views these days, if they haven't disappeared entirely. Clotso has long been in the mindset that she will always have YouTube to rely on, and that it is a turnkey endeavor that requires no preparation, no effort, and no regard for her own viewers.

She's too much of a minor player to have really been tested on that, but she's big enough now that things like this can become a problem. And the funny thing is, it isn't really her that is turning off half her audience, it is her sidekick. Peetz could really wind up making half her audience irate enough to turn against them or simply leave altogether.

And what would happen if they left? Clotso's food money (and possibly rent money) would be affected, which will not make the dynamics at home any more pleasant. Peetz fucking up her channel would be a hilarious plot twist that nobody saw coming, but which could very well happen. People will be baiting him next time, and if he takes the bait, let's see what happens...

This may seem like a small thing now, but it is exactly the kind of thing that can blow up in her face. Well, let's be real. There is a vocal contingent of those who voted for Trump that are racist AF. I don't know what her parking situation was at her former apartment but clearly where she's living now, she's parking outside. Ottawa area snowfalls & storms can be... interesting; lots of heavy snow & the following day is generally sunny & bitterly cold. I can't see Chantal safely getting down the steps in front of her place, struggling across to her car, clearing the car of snow, as well as the area around the car; certainly not at her current weight. Unless she can inveigle Peetz into doing that, she may well find herself housebound for days or weeks on end, depending on how bad the winter is.

The reasonable thing to do (meaning she won't do it) would be to freeze a lot of meat and poultry, buy bags of frozen vegetables, dried rice and beans, and dry staples that keep before the weather turns nasty. Then not eat the whole thing in one sitting when snowed in.
