What kind of "experiences" will you be able to have if no one works jobs anymore? You want to travel the world? Sorry, pilots don't exist anymore. You're ill, injured, disabled, etc? Hospitals don't have staff anymore. You want easy access to food, clothing, luxuries, etc? Good luck without people working to design, farm, manufacture, deliver, and sell those items. You want trash collection? Internet? Banking? Access to your Facebook to share tweet reposts? Well, then, maybe, just maybe, some labor is actually valuable and necessary in our world's current state.
Nah, I'm sure it's the big bad corporations creating slaves out of the general public. We don't actually need people to do jobs, everyone should just leech off of their parents like good ol' Staph does.
They could've easily made an argument for the fact that the 40 hour work week doesn't work as well with more modern lifestyles, rather than suggest there's "absolutely nothing normal" about the idea of working full-time. Yet they came up with this. She baffles me more often than she should.

All of this is right, and I'm not going to stan for corporations, but even in the past there was no idyllic golden age where people didn't work or perform labor. Unless you were born into immense privilege and wealth, labor is a reality of our life on this planet.
Even if you go back to pre-Industrial days, humans used to perform back-breaking, grueling labor from sun up to sun down. Yes, women too. Even if they weren't traditionally hunters or soldiers, cleaning laundry, grinding flour, caring for animals, hauling water, preparing food, and all the while caring for children and being near-constantly pregnant weren't a walk in the park either. Death in childbirth was common, and the life expectancy was so low because so many infants died. There were no social safety nets or modern medicine, so even if you didn't want to bang out dozens of kids, you basically had to, since there was no one to take care of you if you didn't. The threat of war, disease, and starvation loomed over everything.
I'm not saying the world is perfect, but holy shit, she doesn't know anything about anything.
Powerlevel: I have lived on a hippie/commie commune in my younger and more retarded years, and guess what? Everyone had BO and still had to work.

Okay, forgive me for a potentially really dumb question here because I do have a degree of face blindness, but that's not actually Stapphy next to that old dude in the 'dude was nice enough to tell me I pass' photo, is it?
I'm assuming it's not because I don't see a dumpy haircut, pin-ladened fedora, or general aura of tard (plus the face looks significantly thinner than like, every picture I've ever seen of stapphy). And if it's not her, she sure does seem to be trying to suggest that it is.
Genuinely mystified here.
