Details: The debate will be 90 minutes long and have no commercial breaks. There will be no opening statements, and instead Wallace will dive right in with the first question to Trump. It will be divided into six 15-minute segments that Wallace has chosen. They are:
1) The Trump and Biden records;
2) The Supreme Court;
3) Covid-19;
4) the economy;
5) race and violence in cities;
6) the integrity of the election.

After the debates a poll will be posted on who you think won this first debate. Have lots of fun, keep the commentary fresh as I'm sure we've all heard many of the same lines for months and enjoy the beginning of the end of this presidential election cycle. Just as a reminder, on October 7th there will be a Vice Presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.

I will say, I liked Biden's answer on policing, at least at first. It's very much in line with what I've argued here on the Farms. To be clear again, Biden is not a "Defund the Police" asshole, and I actually admired his courage in coming out against that. Let's give credit where credit is due. I am not going to vote for Biden, but I will admit to what I see in him that is good. However, Trump rightfully pointed out no police groups supported him, and the reason is pretty obvious. Biden's campaign has pandered to the anarchists and rioters, and while Biden the man may have a sober idea of what American policing needs, in NO WAY will his administration do anything about it.

One of the biggest problems with the Biden campaign is that it is for the Harris administration

Biden's whole schtick is that he's a "traditional candidate." Interrupting Trump would be self-defeating because it would go against the image he's trying to portray.

Problem is that Biden wants to look like he would stand up to Putin. He couldn't handle Trump. How will he handle Putin? Or anyone getting in his face?

I don't think Trump would have lost if he didn't articulate his points. He did though. The point was to get Joe flustered and support positions he probably shouldn't to disuade his voters from coming out. And on that front, Trump won.

But it ain't over until the fat lady sings. Reagan had a pretty awful first debate but came back swinging in rounds 2 and 3. Not that I expect joe to do any better. He'll probably perform the same. Still think Trump will win the election.

He has already explicitly condemned them in the past, anyone who still believes that he is buddy-buddy with them wouldn't have their minds changed regardless, and frankly there is no point in wasting energy on something that should be rather obvious given Trump's history.
