Details: The debate will be 90 minutes long and have no commercial breaks. There will be no opening statements, and instead Wallace will dive right in with the first question to Trump. It will be divided into six 15-minute segments that Wallace has chosen. They are:
1) The Trump and Biden records;
2) The Supreme Court;
3) Covid-19;
4) the economy;
5) race and violence in cities;
6) the integrity of the election.

After the debates a poll will be posted on who you think won this first debate. Have lots of fun, keep the commentary fresh as I'm sure we've all heard many of the same lines for months and enjoy the beginning of the end of this presidential election cycle. Just as a reminder, on October 7th there will be a Vice Presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.
You can view Joe Biden's megathread here, and Donald Trump's megathread here

If you think Biden is actually decent and it's not just for show, you weren't watching tonight. I don't want the president to be a sugar coated wordsmith who stabs me in the back—that's Obama. Trump never lied about who he is and I don't think anyone who votes for him is under the impression he has.

If only it were Trump v Sanders, now that would be a much more interesting debate. And who would Obama and Bush vote for?

Gabbard will never be on the Democrat ticket ever again after destroying Kamala on live TV and now by shouting out Project Veritas for the Ballot Harvesting Omar is wholesale employing.
Speaking of Veritas and Omar, anyone else think Trump not bringing this up in the debate was a missed opportunity? Or would it have been too early since Minneapolis-St. Paul Police said they were investigating it?

Once they start losing real power and the geriatric leaders / Clintons start dying off then the party will be able to renew itself. Give it 15 years or so.

I say Trump only wins because he basically destroyed Biden's argument about "BRINGING BACK DECENCY AND THE SOUL TO THIS COUNTRY BACK" by baiting Biden a lot to make him rage. Hillary was more competent at this than Biden and if the roles were reversed, Hillary probably would've had a better shot than Biden did.

Trump however at the same time should've not kept interrupting along with the moderator.

So Trump only wins on the virtue of getting rid of Biden's bullshit about bringing decency back.

I have no idea about Biden's base. The radicals definitely didn't get what they want. He probably didn't lose to much ground with Democrat "moderates."
The likes of the Squad and Bernie are going to be doing damage control to keep the progressives on board.

Seems like he did a perfectly good job at what he was instructed to do. IE simp hard for biden
Man, not on No Simp September...
Even if he was, he would never advocate for white people. No politician ever will. They will pander to everyone else under the sun but mentioning whites as a group, other than to condemn them, will never happen. I've accepted that long ago but it still doesn't make it any easier to watch it transpire.
I think he actually all but mentioned white people by name when he tried describing what group CRT directs hate towards.

Now that you mention it, it's rather uncanny.
Trump seemed unhinged. Biden missed many of the marks, but ultimately Trump's moronic "sleepy senile joe!" Framing had already lowered expectations such that joe probably got a 'C average' while Trump got a 'B' for 'bizarre.' The debate has exactly zero effect on the race because nothing does. How hard is it to follow the rules that you yourself agreed to in order to even have the debate??
You write like you wrote this out two hours before the debate and had an MSNBC editor look at it.
Antifa has no chairman like the Proud Boys do, nor does it have an "elder chapter", nor does it have a personal lawyer.
They're about as organized as Chanology was.
Saying Antifa has no organization because there's no central figurehead is like saying the Eastern Orthodox Church has no organization because there's no pope-- it's a dumb argument to make.
It's a loss of decorum and control.
The only control present in this debate was over bowel movements, and I'm only 80-90% sure on that one.

FTFY.

This shit was entertaining unless you were a Biden boy. Three old white guys, one crippled physically, one mentally, and one emotionally, yelling at each other.

Those are some harsh things to say about Chris Wallace. I guess Trump and Biden do come off as spry and full of mature wit compared to him.

I'll take someone who tries to be decent over someone who flaunts being a dick. Flaunting it tends to make it stink more, weirdly enough.
There's a huge difference between trying to reduce your dicketry and trying to hide it.
I prefer people being honest about their faggotry and trying to be less of a dickbag than trying to hide it while still being a dumbass.

Suppressing your opinions usually makes it come out in a more... uncontrolled version?

I remember Trump saying $3.5 million from the mayor of Moscow's wife about a million times and Biden having no response, and saying Hunter was connected to $38 billion over in China. Implying corrupt Hunter being connected to $38 billion over in China is a bad idea. One of Hunter's Chinese companies that paid him off connections. The $38 billion is probably only technically true, the total value of a company that paid Hunter off and put him on its board or something, and only if you look at it in the most unfair light. I don't remember 2 other numbers being mentioned.

I may be misremembering. I thought he said half a million, then $120,000, then $3.5 mil, but what you're saying makes sense if he was referring to kickbacks, then valuations.
