Joe's handlers not doing him many favors. Lin Wood, Rittenhouse's attorney, has already said they're preparing formal demands of retraction.
And they didn't even wait until the weekend, so the tweet (and his tweet-writers) can get buried by the newscycle, plus have a 2-day headstart on the nuclear holocaust of legal paperwork that's about to hit his desk.
Hmm not much twitter buzz to be seen lately from BLM about William Howard Green. The county recently reached a settlement with his family for $20 million and criminal charges are pending. He was shot to death in a police cruiser while handcuffed and it appears the cop lied about how it went down.
The reason protesters lose their minds over criminals is because they relate to them. They see people making bad decisions and go "oh shit, that could be me going to jail next." It's not because they genuinely care about brutality. They're self-serving and don't want to be the next one caught. It's kinda gross.
Kyle's in good hands. This guy sounds pissed but is classy about it. Seriously though, people are STILL equating Kyle to white supremacists and I just can't wrap my head around it. He's got another hearing on the 9th, I believe so let's keep an eye out.

Honestly, it just seems too much like people reading too much into jokes and throwaway stuff.
“I don’t like it being used for nefarious purposes,” Oakley told the Hollywood Reporter of the episode he cowrote with Josh Weinstein. “The idea that anyone misappropriates it to make coronavirus seem like an Asian plot is terrible. In terms of trying to place blame on Asia — I think that is gross.”
In the actual episode, the packager, who is working in Japan, transmits an illness deemed the “Osaka flu.” According to Oakley, the scene in Japan was “supposed to be a quick joke about how the flu got there,” and nothing more.
“It was meant to be absurd that someone could cough into a box and the virus would survive for six to eight weeks in the box. It is cartoonish,” Oakley told THR. “We intentionally made it cartoonish because we wanted it to be silly and not scary, and not carry any of these bad associations along with it, which is why the virus itself was acting like a cartoon character and behaving in extremely unrealistic ways.”
The Simpsons
gets too much credit for predicting the future, Oakley argues, even when it is funny — like Disney buying 20th Century Fox and smartwatches — but especially when the so-called claim is used for harmful purposes.
"There are very few cases where The Simpsons predicted something," Oakley says. "It's mainly just coincidence because the episodes are so old that history repeats itself. Most of these episodes are based on things that happened in the '60s, '70s or '80s that we knew about."
I love how committed to newspeak these media whores are. People aren't just "taking the joke too far" or "fucking idiots," they're "misappropriating" the joke. Jesus tap-dancing Christ.

Nostradamus doesn't get to stop being a spooky seer just because he doesn't like the future he foretold. Yes of course the writing is comedy, but "Simpsons predicted it" is also comedy. If he doesn't like that joke, that just makes him a grump.
I can't believe people are so retarded they are refusing to place blame on an authoritarian, quasi-communist nation because they aren't white. It's really hard for me not to say stuff on KF that would make me sound like I'm glowing--I'm starting to get really angry over what these dumbasses are doing to our culture. Man, blaming China for wrongdoing--so "gross" (used in a SJW woke buzzword way).

If that isn't literally tainting the jury pool on a national level..... by a blue-check presidental candidate, no less.
Hell, they'll need to try him in the Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico for any hope at a halfway impartial jury. This drunken billygoat fuckshow of a trial is going to be off to a roaring start, with a very abrubt ending.
If he doesn't get a personal handshake from Trump when he walks, I'll be amazed.

It's the same reason for why so many people use Russia as the forever boogeyman, too. Part of it to be fair is that it gives boomers a tingling sensation as it reminds them of their childhood and the Cold War era, but also because they're socially safe to demonize since you're unlikely to be accused of doing it due to cries of racism. As for politicians they're afraid for the most part to go after China on things because they know that so much is made over there and the economies are heavily linked and reliant on them.
This poor kid. Even with all the video footage showing that he acted purely in self defense and had a very reasonable fear for his life, the media is still able to suppress all that information and socially assassinate him with an almost entirely constructed narrative that most people don't give a shit enough to even question. Then the former Vice President from the most recent administration decides to get in on the fun and use him as the literal poster boy for White Supremist wanton violence on a worldwide Internet platform.
I'm having a hard time seeing this get any better for Kyle. It's really fucking sad.

That's been obvious from the beginning. The media is in the pocket of whoever is leading the terrorists. Look at how the McCloskeys are villified when most homeowners would have done the same thing. The zombies that were arrested for trying to loot that neighborhood were released without charges. It's all about optics, We The People aren't supposed to stand up for ourselves and our homes, we're supposed to be scared victims.
Some of us have just weighed the pros and cons and have decided that if the rioters come to our areas we will be splitting skulls open, damn the consequences.
Why am I reminded of that scene from Gangs of New York where the local WASP's are shouting "Lincoln will make all White men slaves!" and displaying pro-Confederate propaganda signs like "Down With The Union!" and "Jefferson Davis is our brother!" as Union troops parade through the streets during a 4th of July celebration.
This whole campaign is like that made into an actual Democrat platform

If it's still a local level trial, this could be a factor for the judge to dismiss the most serious of the charges before the trial itself since the jury pool would be so tainted.
Now I do think Kyle will be found guilty of the misdemeanor weapons charge for sure, and the serious charges would all depend on the judge in question viewing the evidence and whether or not he dismisses those charges. If the case gets bumped to federal level, then Kyle's probably fucked and will be made an example of.
