When boogie lied about the swatting and hacking he said “I am prepared to lie and go to jail to take them down” or words to that effect. I really hope this idiot means it and ends up doing some more dumb shit that lands his fat ass behind bars. The best part is that he can’t go in front of a judge and start using “muh anxiety muh depression muh PTSD” like he does on Twitter because they’ll just have him committed

Also people have said the body cam footage proved the swatting was real. It wasn’t a swatting it was a welfare check because as usual he was running around on Twitter with his “I’m suicidal wah” BS while he was at a convention. I believe the person who rang up was just a kid who was genuinely concerned it was kind of sad to see the real like consequence of boogie’s manipulation.

I agree. I just don’t know that much about Frank. Several people seem hung up him not participating in any scheme and I could see how it could work with him being a bit of a pawn.

However, people seem to actually believe he really hated Boogie and would never cooperate with him as a result. They are buying into to this “feud” between Boogie and Frank as totally legitimate- which is silly. The only goal is views and e-fame, that’s the priority. Trolling Boogie is just a means to the end, he probably doesn’t give a fuck about Boogie either way, just what he gains from publicly taunting him.

I didn’t realize that Frank made content behind a paywall - knowing that I think he was absolutely a knowing participant in this stunt. Gotta be hard keeping his little enterprise going with Covid-19 making public stupidity with strangers far more difficult and needing a paywall to generate income. He’s probably counting on this stunt to keep him from having to get a real job this year.

Someone committing a crime doesn't mean they automatically get charged. I understand it sounds satisfying to imagine that Boogie fucked up with the warning shot and will eventually be carted off to jail, but that's unlikely given you have evidence of a guy obsessing over him and traveling over a hundred miles to try and harass him. At the very least, the average person is not going to think that's sane. So even if it's a crime to fire off the warning shot, with no one hurt and insane person visiting Boogie you'd probably at most see Boogie getting a warning from the police.

Seriously what is the logic here. Do people really imagine Frank is going to look like an innocent victim to a police officer after seeking out this encounter?

If you legitimately had a reason for doing it you could almost certainly defend it as necessary to prevent a greater harm. Often, though, what you have is like this, someone who had no legitimate reason for using that level of force at all and was just recklessly endangering the public.

It will really depend on how hardass the cops want to go in on him. If he's repeatedly annoyed them over dumb Boogie bullshit in the past they might want to have him cool his heels a bit to teach him a lesson. It will also possibly have something to do with how dimly they view the actions of some out of town nutjob who literally just goes around hassling people for no good reason.

Depending on how things went down I could see them being anything from absolutely furious at Boogie to glad that he chased off some no good weirdo.

If you want a quick rundown from someone who followed Boogie at one point and has cursory knowledge of Frank:

Around eight years ago, Boogie got famous on YouTube for this video. He continued the "Francis" series, where he played a quick-to-anger manchild, with his sister (played by his wife, Dez) filming his antics and getting exasperated. Eventually, he started doing videos as "himself", and came off as a really nice guy. Over time, he started playing up the "poor pity me" card, telling lies and half-truths he couldn't keep consistent about his youth, and started drawing suspicion from his viewers. A few years ago, YouTube started cleaning up their act and quit promoting vulgar videos (like Francis), plummeting Boogie's viewcounts, and he happened to be going through a divorce around the same time. Boogie's been going downhill ever since.

That's about the quickest summary I can give, but it also leaves out the weird sagas he's had, like when he got a tummy tuck and still wouldn't stop gorging himself on junk food, when he got his new teeth that looked super creepy, and his misadventures with hookers ("One for me and one for my hooker!"). Nobody here expected him to ever even touch a gun.

Frank Hassle is a recent comedy YouTuber who annoys people on the street. He has balls of steel and comes up with bizarre shit that pisses people off, and it's hilarious - like there was one video where where he asked someone if they dropped a pack of hot dogs and the guy goes insane.

To be honest, he is forced to keep his content behind the pay wall due to the terrorist actions of Google employees, who kept deleting his channel on YouTube, citing some made up nonsense about privacy complaints or some other made up bullshit.

Also, Boogie took down both Frank Hassle's youtube channel and the Sam and Tolki subreddit, so in my opinion Boogie is worse than Osama bin Laden.
