The way it's framed is pretty contradictory, you'd think the poor soldier would mean the army is underequipped, rather than the opposite message of the army taking shitload of money to fight other country's wars and leftists not caring.
Plus the "fighting wars for Israel" is kinda untrue. You have at most the two wars in Iraq that had other reasons behind them (Kuwait for the former, maybe oil for the latter). At best you have the military funding, which is more complicated topic.

It's not a soldier, it's a general, and the implication is that with fewer wars their positions are not justified.
The "no wars for Israel" is referring primarily to Iran, and to a lesser extent Syria. That's why it's said in the present tense, rather than a war from 1991.

So is this guy pro-Trump or anti-Trump again? I thought Stonetoss was all about hating on Trump's supposed incompetency.
When Trump does something he agrees with he gives credit, when Trump does something he doesn't agree with he calls it out. That's not pro or anti, that's being nuanced and balanced.

What did Haaretz mean by this?
The war in Iraq was conceived by 25 neoconservative intellectuals, most of them Jewish, who are pushing President Bush to change the course of history. Two of them, journalists William Kristol and Charles Krauthammer, say it's possible. But another journalist, Thomas Friedman (not part of the group), is skeptical

Haaretz is an extremely left wing publication that really hates some of the things Jews do that cause people to hate Jews.
To be fair, there are a lot of normal Jews who hate the things Jews do that cause people to hate them.

(as a Christian, I can sympathise with the "no, no, what are you doing?!" feeling)

Let me summarize this video to save everyone else from wasting 15 minutes: "Racist joke comics are bad because they turn people racist. If you laugh at or tell racist jokes, you're actually a racist trying to hide your racism with humor."

Nothing new, nothing interesting, nothing persuasive. The same worn out argument used in the early 2000s against violent videogames except this time it's about edgy humor.

It's all so tiresome.
you didn't watch the video did you?

Nah, Haaretz is like WaPost. Quoting it against jews is like quoting a journos post about Institutional racism and saying it proves why white people are evil.

Considering the journos who say that are almost always white people (when they are not (((white people)))), they're kind of walking evidence that white people, or at least those particular white people, are evil.

Whenever you see a "self-hating white male" posting about that shit it's a Jew about 90% of the time. Whenever you see a "self-hating white woman" posting about that shit it's a Jew about 60% of the time. The ones that aren't Jewish tend to be rabid LGBT or polyamorous/cuckold sexual degenerates who are usually taught and/or funded by Jews.

That’s more in line with the Jewish Daily Forward than Haaretz. Either way, the goyim doesn’t know much about either publication, you get some pretty interesting articles and op-eds that they wouldn’t have the chutzpah to publish in the NYT or Washington Post. I endorse occasionally checking the Jewish Daily Forward as a finger on the pulse of the Jewish left.

Fair enough I guess, I can appreciate not taking strict sides like that and instead alternating between criticism and praise.
