"Still not a clear path to full recovery" sounds pretty vetted.
It sounds pretty bog standard for this early in the infection given we're still figuring out what's the best way to treat it, and what controls who gets some of the nastier long term symptoms. All it really says is that Trump isn't one of the people who lucked into getting an incredibly mild case of it.

Who do I trust, a team of military doctors or an anonymous source quoted by Jim Acosta and friends? Hmm, such a difficult decision.

The media is the enemy of the people.

Idk those military doctors have already had to correct their mistakes so it doesn't seem they're infallible, especially as they got the name of the drugs they're giving trump wrong in this correction.

I hope Trump beats the odds and pulls through despite his age, health and current condition.

But if the worst happens and he doesn't, people will be asking questions about the care he has received at the hands of a medical team who mistake days for hours, and can't accurately name the drugs they're using to treat him.

Read the rest of that thread. He found out where it came from.

That wasn't what Meadows had said, and if they knew for a fact that Meadows was the anonymous source they'd have outed him in a heartbeat. They're intentionally trying to conflate the two things to make it seem like Meadows is the source.

I don't use it myself, but my university's app has a "social media wall" to post things. I forgot about it until now. These people are acting like it's Twitter. Say what you will about the president but it's not a good look to (preemtively) gravedance and call your college peers I quote "braindead fucks" for not wanting Trump to die.
How much more angry will the left be if Donald Trump not only survives but gets public sympathy for it then uses it to push reopening? I think their argument on covid is actually a lot less effective because Trump will have put his own life on the line fighting for what he personally believes (whether you agree with him or not), which is a lot more courageous than most of trumps detractors are.

...what's the guarantee that Biden doesn't delegate his work to sycophants? And what does it matter if he delegates his work to people who will do wrong as per the interests of roughly half (or even more of) the country? Yeah, great, they're "normal", but when did respect for a politician become the norm?

Don't mind him. Canadians are indoctrinated to obey authority and love the government establishment unquestioningly. It's like "They Live" but the people are so docile you don't need the glasses to see the messages.

Not to be certain or anything, but is it possible that the Orange Man, mr. Diet Coke and Mc Donald's lover, is healthier at 74 than Boris Johnson is at 56?

Also, the assumption that because Trump is older than Boris, therefore he should have it exactly the same or worse is just dumb. Yes, older people are statistically more at risk, but it doesn't mean anything in an anecdotal case. Some get knocked out bad by it, some barely notice they have it.

The virus is also much more understood now than it was then, and may have mutated to be weaker by this point.
