The common cope in the comments is that his apparent good health is illusory, and that at any moment he still might die. It still might happen! Doctors on the news and Twitter [who hate him] confirm! Sources familiar with his thinking report that this is true.

He's hopped up on a steroid that you typically only give to covid patients that are developing ARDS(severe), because it can make normal cases worse. Either he demanded to leave so the docs gave him the steroid because what else could they do, or they think he might develop ARDS. I guess they might know something the rest of the medical community does not, but it's definitely the reason he is acting so peppy/manic. Seems like he started showing symptoms on the first of the month, so maybe day 5-7 of symptoms. This weekend will be the big tell as to whether he is going survive or not.
