You know this is a random thought or question but I really don't get why a presidential candidate would choose a VP who did extremely poorly in the primaries they won from? Wouldn't it have been better for Biden to get a black lady who wasn't in the Democrat primaries that is reputable within the base and would work with him.

This is like when Ted Cruz tried to pick Carly Fiorina as his VP back in 2016. If Biden loses I hope that teaches politicians to not pick a loser for their VP.

Dems have flanderized "standing up for the little guy" into "lionize losers". See also: Stacey Abrams, Beta O'Dork.

Reagan was smart enough to pick the guy who finished second.

I seriously don't know what to make of this shit tbh. Trump is basically at Obama 2008 levels of enthusiasm but had less online views compared to Biden, who is at Trump 2016 tier.

Trump had less views than Biden and Obama but is better than 2016.

Was it "I could shoot a man on fifth avenue and not lose any support"?
I didn't want more bullshit spending, personally, so being upset about this would be REALLY stupid.
I need the Trump bucks for Minecraft skins.

If Biden loses I hope that teaches politicians to not pick a loser for their VP.
If Biden loses, anyone who tries to run for office a third time after being a big loser twice should just give it up.

This is Biden's 4th run, and he only got lucky because the establishment chosen one this time around sucked cock, literally and figuratively. What we're seeing and living through right now is the hypothetical "what if Biden was actual the nominee?" His support is only garnered by blue dogs, the media that shills their souls for blue, and folks who despise Trump to loony levels.

His biggest supporters are:
1. Trump supporters
2. Bernie supporters
3. The large open air that surrounds Biden when he gives his remarks
4. The VBNW types, who binge MSM, go straight to the center 11/3, vote Democrat and dip.
5. The Biden supporters who won't leave their house beyond their front lawns, despite claiming that they support him.

EDIT: Here's McSally debating Mark Kelly.

Let's be honest here.

Trump just said something stupid when he could've easily said something smart.

He's not finished. He just needlessly fucked up again. He'll be fine.

It's just a normal Tuesday.
Thinking about it yeah that makes sense.

This really won't stick to Trump much since he said so much stupid shit and I remembered being disappointed by one thing he said in 2016 but it was forgotten the next week.

You should know what's in this "stimulus" bill before criticizing Trump. It's filled with shit that will actually ruin the election. Poison pills are too soft a word—they're fucking barrels of cyanide.

This bill would literally make voter id illegal, require states to accept ballots that they can't confirm, and legalize at a national level ballot harvesting. Trump would lose my vote if he signed this steaming pile of shit.

Yes. But he didn't put that at the front of his complaints like he should have. And with that, I'll stop bitching about it.

As we all expected, the coward is trying to bail on the debate.

"I will be guided by the guidelines", says man who wants to be big time leader.

Have you considered the possibility that those views are also Trump voters who are also mass-downvoting and dragging down the like ratio?

Yes, that tactic would have also applied to previous elections as well. McCain and Romney were dullards who didn't attract the kind of attention that GEOTUS does. And yet they have shittier likes to dislikes. As for Hillary in 2016, I would also throw in the Bernie Bros piling on with the Trump supporters to down vote Hillary.

But I also have posted the likes to dislikes to each for both conventions and the DNC did way way worse than the RNC.

Wow, a lot of doomer posts on Trump’s chances.

Honestly, I am not too worried, and for quite a few reasons.

1) Trump’s Covid may be a boost. Apparently politicians who suffer from it get more support afterwards. So this may actually help Trump, especially since he seems to be coming off strong from it.

2) He is going for a second term, typically a second term is won.

3) Many are still not over Bernie or the progressives. This was a huge fumble last election, now not only did the Dems pull it again, but this time on 3 people. Bernie has essentially pushed the Dems into division. Last election, many hoped that their vote for Hillary may translate into his policies being picked up or a chance for him to run, on both cases they have been betrayed. Something tells me more of his voters are going to sit out/ vote red.

4) Biden is not a minority, so he is automatically losing much of the woke left that played identity politics with Hillary. While they will scream for a Dem, they most likely have nothing really go for.

5) He looked weak and Trump-like during the debate. He is now apologizing for his behavior, hilariously. The debate showed two things; 1) He can act just as improperly as Donald, making him not the “he go low, we go high“ candidate he was cracked up to be as he had just as much jerkiness during debates. 2) He looked weak as Wallace was debating Trump more than him.
It seems most could not listen to the debate as both candidates were too much. This is bad for Biden, as he needs to gain support, yet is not from that debate.

6) Riots and Covid responses are still present, both of which can be shot back at Dems. Thanks Nancy!

7) Pence will likely run laps around Harris. Tulsi already exposed a huge flaw, being that she cannot defend herself. All Pence needs to do is come at her for her to break. She will drag down Biden’s campaign as their debate will determine the moderates more as that is actual policy. She could barely hold her own against other Dems, no way is she going to be able to go against Pence. Biden did a good job of trapping her, my God!
Also her positions on Biden being a segregationist may come back to haunt them, along with her believing Biden’s sexual assault victims.

I don't know if this statement has tanked Trump or not. With the way 2020 has been, this might be a nothing burger. I'm gonna wait and see. I guess I'm a "follow the plan" faggot now. If that means not becoming a doomer / getting black pilled, so be it.
I'm less a "follow the plan" faggot; its just more that I have learned to doubt "Truly, Drumpf is finished this time for realzies!" quite a bit over the past four years.

I'm not saying Trump will win or won't win, but there is more at play than "Angry Trump Tweet #4276".
If Trump loses its because most Americans either believe the MSM or simply don't care how biased it is.
If Trump loses its because his base feels like he didn't deliver/fight hard enough for his election promises.
If Trump loses its because Dems get their voter fraud machine pumping in swing states.
If Trump loses its because the "Vote Blue No Matter Who" message was actually effective at bringing in all the disillusioned metoos, bernouts and BLM types and unifying them under Biden.
If Trump loses it won't be because of this one tweet.

This is true since I don't think I have ever heard of a president who tried to run for office four times and won the fourth time cause looking back

Trump: Ran once in 2000, 2016 was his second run
Obama: 2008 was his first presidential run
Bush: 2000 was his first presidential run
Clinton: 1992 was his first presidential run
Bush Sr.: Ran in 1980, 1988 was the second time
Reagan: Ran in 1976, 1980 was the second time
Carter: Ran only in 1976
Ford: Lol
Nixon: Ran in 1960, 1968 was the second time

Beyond that there is not a single president who ran for president for more than two times and won. The only president who ran more than 3 times and won was FDR but that was before term limits.

Have you taken the "watch to see if he shits himself" demographic into account?

It's just a normal Tuesday.

Remember, when Trump fucks up, Biden will easily outdo him and fuck up even more making Trump's mistake look absolutely miniscule in comparison.

Doomers are pretty funny, especially since they don't even bother to actually take a look at what's actually going on. You can give them all the evidence that Trump is gonna win this election pretty handily, and they'll still say that Trump is finished or isn't going to win.

They're content in being miserable so I don't really bother or engage with them.

My guess? Partial artificial inflating, partial natural result of YouTube's general basic bitch Liberal skew.

John Oliver's channel, for example, has 8.4 million subscribers and a total viewcount at the 2.6 billion. This blows either candidate out of the water, and we both know he isn't the second coming of Enoch Powell.

That said, with the amount of subscribers and views Trump has vs Biden has (the former leads in both comfortably--I think around 1 million subscribers and 280,000,000 or views EDIT: Wow have I been negligent. Trump's at 1.25 million subscribers and 340,000,000 views), I think it's a little fishy how many of these facts doesn't seem to correspond with Biden's general viewership.

The same issue occurs with Twitter. Trump doesn't get the like ratios Biden does, despite having nearly 70 million more followers. Facebook is a curbstomp--Trump sweeps in both followers and positive reactions. Meanwhile, Alexa somehow shows Biden's website in a comfortable lead against Trump's.

This is all to say: gauging enthusiasm through the internet is messy and only gives half the story.

Somewhat related: FDR and Nixon are the only two guys to be on a major National ticket 5 times.

FDR: L-W-W-W-W
Nixon: W-W-L-W-W
