I doubt anything will come from their trial but these two acted like complete idiots. Standing out in the open and poorly brandishing your weapons isn't responsible gun ownership and it's a bad look all around.
There's no other real option of defense when it comes to 2 people vs 100+ that are known for arson. Sitting inside and praying that they won't set a fire to your home somewhere you can't see them may leave you outside with your guns drawn anyways but with a burning house behind you.

The man was fine as far as carrying a long gun. The woman was being a retard and under most circumstances it would legally be considered brandishing. The laws on home defense are really strong in the area, so she probably will walk away with no conviction.

By the "open" you mean their own yard right?

Not only did the 'peaceful protestors' break through a gate to access a private street it's clear from the protestors point of view that they're in the yard of the home when you look at the aerial view of the house.

I agree the wife's weapon handling wasn't great, she should have been low ready but the only mistake they made was not recording the crowd.

The Black Lies Matter narrative always falls apart when they're the ones being recorded.

Their story is they were eating on the porch when they heard the crowd coming, and didn't go to grab guns until the mob came through the gate. The guy wasn't even wearing shoes IIRC. So they weren't exactly prepared for a proper defense or to set up a full legal case via cell phone footage.

If you think their gun handling was sketchy, imagine how much worse it would've been with one of them carrying a phone in one hand.

Ken Bone (center) listens to US Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump during the second presidential debate at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

“Red Sweater Guy” Ken Bone — America’s most celebrated and then vilified undecided voter from 2016 – still hasn’t made up his mind about whom to vote for, according to a report.
The Illinois man with an aw-shucks demeanor turned into a social media sensation after asking Hillary Clinton and then-candidate Donald Trump a question about their energy policies during a town hall-style presidential debate.
But the bloom quickly vanished after reports emerged that he once committed insurance fraud, believed the killing of Florida teen Trayvon Martin was justified, enjoyed looking at actress Jennifer Lawrence’s “butt hole” and enjoyed weird porn of pregnant women.
Bone is back in the spotlight in an interview with Newsweek, saying he was surprised Trump won – describing the president’s time in office as “hit and miss with a lot more misses than hits.”

“What Trump is really a master at is manipulating people via the media,” he told the mag. “It’s crazy how he gets us all to pay attention to what’s in his right hand while he’s doing his sleight of hand with the other.”
During the Democratic primaries, Bone said he was endorsing Andrew Yang.
He said the first presidential debate — which went off the rails amid a shouting match between Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden — didn’t improve his opinions of either candidate.
“I think that we kind of got what we expected. In a way, we almost got what we deserved, because we’ve all played our part in raising the temperature of political discourse,” Bone told Newsweek.

mediocrity. Didn't they find he had cartoon porn on his computer or something

Derek Chauvin has bonded out.

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - Derek Chauvin has been released from the Oak Park Heights, Minnesota prison after posting a non-cash bond. Chauvin had been jailed in segregation at the state's maximum security prison awaiting a March 8 trial in the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

A Minnesota Department of Corrections spokesperson confirmed Chauvin was no longer being held at the prison on Wednesday, and state court records show Chauvin posted bond. Court records show he posted a non-cash $1 million bond on Oct. 7, signed by A-Affordable Bail Bonds of Brainerd, Minnesota. A notice of release was posted at 10:34 a.m. on Oct. 7.

Isn't this the guy that had his reddit account uncovered and his post history, including posts detailing his fetishes, highlighted on social media for the world to see?

Why would anyone willingly subject themselves to the ramifications of appearing on a national news station for any reason?

edit: it was him! And it was not just shitty online publications that shit on this guy in articles, CNN and WaPo covered it:
https://money.cnn.com/2016/10/14/technology/ken-bone-reddit/index.html (archive)
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...ne-is-bad-it-was-his-destiny-as-a-human-meme/ (archive)

edit2: ok also i hate that articles say shit like this:
America’s most celebrated and then vilified undecided voter from 2016 – still hasn’t made up his mind about whom to vote for, according to a report.
What the fuck does this even mean? is this in reference to the link later in the article to Newsweeks interview with him? Is an interview a report? Or are they saying the "report" is the news story itself?

Well then. Let the literal manhunt begin.

Start the countdown until cops get called to stop a lynch mob at his door, and BLM screams about it being "proof" that the murderous oppressive system protects its own.

I shudder to think of the life he'll have to live knowing that thousands of deranged rioters want to find him and kill him. He'll have to spend the rest of his life looking over his shoulder and praying he stays under the radar.

Derek Chauvin leaves court after George Floyd pretrial hearing

fire Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin leaves the Family Justice Center in Minneapolis following the George Floyd pretrial hearing
Chauvin had been at the Oak Park Heights prison since May 31. Department of Corrections Commissioner Paul Schnell previously told FOX 9 such transfers of high-profile subjects from a county jail to state prison are "not uncommon.” Oak Park Heights is the same prison where former Minneapolis officer Mohamed Noor was moved after being arrested for murder in the death of Justine Ruszczyk.

Chauvin was arrested and charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter just four days after the Memorial Day death of George Floyd at the intersection of E. 38th Street and Chicago Avenue in Minneapolis. The charge was later upgraded to second-degree murder at the same time Attorney General Keith Ellison announced charges against the other three officers involved in Floyd's death.

Chauvin, the officer seen kneeling on Floyd's neck in a bystander video, is charged with second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. Former officers Thomas Lane, J. Alexander Kueng and Tou Thao are all charged with aiding and abetting second-degree murder and aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter. All four officers were fired the day after the death of George Floyd.

Since he likely can't leave the state, hopefully Chauvin holes up somewhere a few hours outside of Minneapolis with a few people who are law-abiding gun owners.

Joggers rarely leave their urban hives. 'Peaceful protesters' are mostly urban rats as well, but if they show up under cover of darkness out in say, Todd County, they're going to have some problems.

I shudder to think of the life he'll have to live knowing that thousands of deranged rioters want to find him and kill him. He'll have to spend the rest of his life looking over his shoulder and praying he stays under the radar.

He's white; they'll want to find and kill him anyway.
So are you saying we may hear about him killing himself soon? We haven’t heard about Darren Wilson in six years.

His story of BLM firing "multiple rounds at his house" quickly fell out of the media headlines when it turned out it was a single round, and it seems the most likely cause was Joseph Mensah himself grabbing the persons' gun and firing the round himself. After this came to light he gave some bizarre statement how truth was a matter of perspective.
Ronald Bell, the one on the left of these mugshots is the one who fired the shotgun.
copy/pasta from the article:
Bell admitted that he was the individual with the shotgun during the Aug. 8 incident.
Bell also stated that the gun discharged while he was holding it, striking the residence, while he was confronting Mensah.

To be more precise, It's Vaun Mayes and his BLM thugs who went over to the police officer's house, they blocked the street with cars and had a 'party' in front of his house.
Later on they went on his property (which is private) and surrounded his house. They broke a window and were threatening to come in and to force his back door!

It's the same group who later harassed a guy because he put out a Trump flag, after hours and hours of harassment, the owner came out with a gun and was arrested.

Pics related is the most recent event and NOT the police officer Mensah event
It started somewhere in the afternoon. The street was blocked not only for the guy who lived in the house but also for the people who lived
in the surrounding area. They started to play music, yell at him, and harass him and they kept going. After about 12 hours of harassment, somewhere between 1-3 am(need to look it up), the house owner was tired of this shit and came out with a gun. They all played the victim and shocked as they were, they called the police on him and he was arrested.

They have a history of harassing people like this. It's the same group who set a house on fire because 2 black teens were kidnapped and held there. a few hours later the 2 missing
teens showed up. They were never abducted so everything was a 'mistake'. because of that a family was without a home

To give you an idea what a scumbag Vaun Mayes is: he made a drawing of the Mensah-Shotgun incident and when he was harassing the Trump-flag guy he had it printed on his t-shirt.

Edit: "it seems the most likely cause was Joseph Mensah himself grabbing the persons' gun and firing the round himself.

That was Vaun Mayes who made these claims, Mensah never said this. (feel free to look it up yourself)

Has he been doxed? If so, he's prepared for a rude awakening if he returns home.
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised there would be people all over the state, hell, people from out of state coming in to look for him for their own brand of "justice". Watch how people would say he's basically free and not guilty of killing Floyd despite the evidence against him.
