I've heard TLL got better after the goblins got kicked out. Even if it hasn't, would Jake risk getting cancelled for saying negative things about it?

He can't be cancelled because he already is cancelled. Nobody he cares about reads his tweets.
Jake actually has quite a habit of concocting bizarre takes that would get him cancelled a dozen times over if anyone but us ever read them.

True to Jake, he was purposefully vague. You would think it would be worth telling people who may need a hotline which one NOT to call but Jake doesn't give a shit about anyone else.
He has on several previous occasion talked about getting hung up on by a 'suicide hotline' though and constantly talks about TLL. He did mention them directly at least once negatively but only when someone else brought them up.

For someone who pretends to be an investigative journalist constantly putting his life on the line to achieve something-or-other, he’s pretty cowardly. He wants it both ways - he wants you to know that it’s TLL/Zoe/the Rakshasa that he’s talking about, but he also wants the ability to deny it if he gets called out. If someone else says it, it’s fine, he’s among people who will defend him.

Jake has mentioned TLL not picking up in the past, bu he doesn't outright criticise them.
There's nothing politically radical about making pop entertainment trashing resource extraction companies. Everyone hates them. Steven Seagal made a movie about beating up oil rig workers in 1994. Mining combines were villains in Dashiell Hammett stories from almost 100 years ago. You'd think someone who talks so much shit about reading would know this.

It's also hilarious when large corporations put out entertainment telling us how bad large corporations are.
Anyone who Sees political radicalism in their big budget video games is the one who actually needs to read.
This is the Movie Blob ethos; you want to sound smart, but all the entertainment that you consume is basic bitch mainstream, so all of a sudden you start seeing great depth in Pokemon, Captain N and Final Fantasy.
It's like your brain is hungering for adult entertainment, but you don't give it any, so it starts imagining great relevance behind your kids cartoons.

Nothing Jake describes there is unusual for freelance writers at the low end of the business. Even if we start from the premise that he's not exaggerating or inventing any of his complaints, this is not happening because he's trans. It's happening because he's a disposable tard with a million others lined up behind him.

You know how every once in awhile someone on kiwifarms Will see a Troon getting huge patreon donations every month and they'll say something like "gosh maybe I should set up a patreon where I pretend to be a tranny so I can get some of that money that's floating around thats so seemingly easy to grab!"
This is Jake's version of that very same bitching.
He sees no difference between himself and other marginally talented trans people who are seemingly given work just because they are trans.
And I would argue there isn't that large of a difference between Jake and those people, with the exception of the fact that Jake seemingly doesn't know how to socialize as an adult at all.
He desperately wants people to come to his Aid when he acts like a little wounded kindergartener.
Now while this too is popular, this is all Jake has to offer.
Jake hasn't had one nuanced take or interesting or original thing to say about any of the topics of the day in the entire time I've been following him.
It's rather similar to why he never had a career making board games.
Jake is just one of many people with nerdy interests who never had that much Social success; one of his only unique traits is his trans identity, which you can see he desperately wants to trade on, but his irrational fear prevents him from tying his identity to his trans personality.
And this is one of the crucial steps to monetizing your identity in 2020.
You have to put yourself out there without any shame and beg and show everyone how fat and gay and trans you are.
You're basically trying to get pity money, and you can't get pity money if you're just an invisible voice shouting into the void.
You have to look AND act pathetic.
If Jake had a little more balls, and he put himself out there with his disgusting nose and his giant fat head, I have no doubt he would be getting even more money on his patreon than he is now.
But he won't, because he imagines actual Hitman and assassins are lying in wait just outside of his apartment, who have nothing better to do than kill Jake Alley: occasional trans writer, occasional RPG contributor.
Just think about that for a second: Jake actually thinks that legitimate Hitman, people who are paid to kill other people, are after him because he supports social justice causes on Twitter and has written a few stupid contributions for role playing games.
Or perhaps he thinks it's because he is trans?
Perhaps he thinks they want to kill him because he just started wearing a wig and he shaved off his glorious gnome beard?
Either way, its Total Insanity. And it's a testament to how difficult someone like Jake is to treat in a psychiatric capacity that none of his therapists that he's stayed with have come right out and told Jake how are irrational and unreasonable these fears are.
And how these fears are the things holding him back from success in life... not a few people making fun of his stupid wig on the internet.
But I guess we all know why no therapist has told Jake that. Because to say such a truism is to immediately be branded a transphobe. Modern therapy has become telling people what they want to hear, which is really no kind of therapy at all. But I digress.

Probably called Anita Scamkessian's new "lifeline" because nobody watched his latest boring livestream.The Suicide Hotline has people on staff 24/7, so it can't be that.
The Trans Lifeline is also available 24/7, and this was posted at 10:53 PM which is within their primary operating hours; Definitely not that.
So in my mind that only leaves one possibility: There is another sort of hotline that despite having a strong incentive to answer every call, they specifically chose not to answer Jake's.
Basically, what I'm saying is, this nigga got blacklisted by phone sex hotline

I believe he complained about them hanging up on him a few months back. But he's never connected all his negative experiences with TLL as it being terrible, because to do so would mean the terrorists had a point about it being a scam. So he instead just makes it about how hard his life is and how much he suffers, a suffering which could only be alleviated if someone (but not you, or you, or anyone who offers) would be willing to DM him.
