Thanks to that nitter.net thing, I can now bypass Shoe's block... yay.

So, this. She RTwed Bernie.

While I agree that not everything state-funded is socialist, isn't WR hospital a MILITARY hospital? I'm not an American, so I googled and it looks like it's just for people who SERVE the country. If our military hospitals are a reference, it's very rare when anyone can be a patient there, unless there is a very specific type of illness or service that they offer that no other hospital can offer. And when they do, you have to pay.

Nobody in the replies is commenting on this... if I'm wrong, you can correct me.

ETA: it's not open to the public... jesus christ... this person below is actually trying to make the opposite point of Bernie...

State-run Militias, which predate socialism by thousands of years, are socialism.

Shoe definitely spends money on food delivery, she's posted photos of her cooking for Greg before and it looked so bland. She also has a habit of buying from Starbucks. Most likely has subscription services to streaming sites. Probably supports other people's Patreons. Have we seen her send superchats to Vaush or other YouTubers? I do have a feeling when she was with Greg she would send money to him to support his Star Wars toy collecting addiction. I do not doubt she's currently doing something similar for Vaush as well.

If the US military is "socialism" it's not a socialist success story, most people know whether they want to quit within their first six months, and the housing sucks since the barracks is often a dirty hellhole where the higher ups enforce retarded rules like you're not allowed to park any boats in the parking lot, and the food sucks too since most people would rather use the money to do the shopping their self instead of go to the cafeteria to eat the three hundred bucks worth of stuff that is spent on their behalf.

You heard it here first folks, the Spartans were the first socialist community! :story:

Eyeshadow palettes are mainly the gotta have items in the beauty community. They can get between $5-$100+ depending on where you buy. The rest of makeup products like foundation can be re-purchased every few months depending on how much is used.
Clothes on the other hand shouldn't be cheap. If you wear cheap clothes they just fall apart and end up in landfills. If you get something well made and worth putting sheckles into it'll last quite a few years.
Imagine spending thousands on Walmart™ makeup.

anyone else kind of in to the boxxy look when its not sh0e
I'm just into the Boxxy look, period. Throw in a 'rawr' or an 'uwu' and we're getting married.

"Socialism is when the government does stuff, and the more stuff it does, the socialist-er it is" is a dead giveaway that you're dealing with a total brainlet of either the leftoid or rightoid variety. It's almost as retarded as "fascism is when bad people do things I don't like."

A big problem with political discourse is that nobody really defines the words they use. Even taking every other issue aside, not speaking the same words make having an actual discussion pretty much impossible.

Walter Reed was also poorly run for decades and it was only under Robert Gates, who visited it and was so disgusted about what he saw he launched a lobbying campaign in congress, that it started to become a decent hospital.

Walter Reed is for the elite. Look at the Presidential Suite

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/20...ite-military-hospital-donald-trump-receiving/

It's like the hospitals the elite in a Communist country go to which have much more resources and better-trained staff than the hospitals the peasants go to. Of course in the US if you have insurance or don't care about bankruptcy the regular hospitals are probably pretty decent. In a Communist state everyone gets free healthcare but the standard varies wildly. Plausibly the elite hospitals in Communist states are only about as good as a normal US hospital and the ones for the peasants are absolutely terrible - no drugs and untrained, overworked doctors.

Bernie's being disingenuous to claim that under socialism everyone gets WR style care.

Oh okay, so if your employer gives you health insurance, that's socialism accomplished. So I guess Americans can just close the book on it now since they pretty much have it all by definition.

The myth that the American medical system is dystopic is so silly. It's the same general quality as in other Western countries. Most hospitals and other insitutions are good, a large minority are amazing, a small minority arent so good. Something like 94% of the population has insurance. Some of the rest dont want it. The final remainder, lol is rationing care to keep down costs any different from not having insurance? Practically, no. Health differences between Americans and Europeans are diminishing as the Continent catches up to Murica in the prevalence of deathfats, muh socialized medicine = healthier population isnt gonna be a tenable lie much longer.

Time for me to admit I was wrong.

I shit on Greg when he first released his "Is Atlantis Real" video, jumping to conclusions that he had gone full lunatic. But this idea of portraying both sides of great myths, essentially skeptic and devil's advocate to skeptic, not only is it different than his usual fare, but it gives him a lot more content. It's actually pretty creative. In order to debunk anything, you have to research it, so he's actually putting all the time he spends learning about other people's arguments to use for views and puts his own little spin on it, while maintaining his skeptic persona as well.

It's definitely working for him. I actually think that if this continues, Greg might stop being a cow altogether.
