There's this whole thing called bonding, which most security agencies have. It boils down to insurance to cover the client if one of their security people fucks up. I'd very much wager that the Pinkertons have it. Bonded service is extremely common for all flavors of contractor labor, and in this case it's likely to pick up the lawsuit bill for the news people. Their reputation is certain to suffer, no amount of insurance will help with that, but I'm doubtful that they'll particularly suffer on the financial front.

Definitely, a PMC security guard type security guard, if the police accounts are true. The grip, the rear mounted reflex holographic sight, and the suppressor sights point to that direction.
Most rent-a-cops do not have the money for that kind of gear nor do they carry it.
*The grip is not perfect but is pretty okay for a draw from holster to engage an immediate threat.

Disagree on conclusions kind of, mostly for lack of conclusive evidence because everyone important is dead or unidentified.
I watched the Danielson videos extensively, I saw 2 puffs that come out from Danielson's location, neither appear to be gunsmoke, specifically a small puff and then a big one.
I am assuming, but cannot make the pixels smaller and clearer to prove, that the small puff was "oh fuck I just turned around to find an obvious antifa thug is running up on me, press trigger to deploy mace" and and the second bigger puff I assume is the can completely discharging out of the bullet hole in the can. Based on this I concluded that he thought a punch was coming (mid level violence, typical of antifa) reacted with mace, and got a bullet in response albeit VERY QUICKLY, which is a big ol' jump up the use of force chain but is strictly speaking a response to an action, and plays poorly for self defense.
Part of why I mentioned this similarity in my view between Danielson and this situation is I can write off one incident of overreaction, but two with very similar sets of facts? That's one away from a distinctive pattern in most people's minds, mine included.
In fairness I should have put "self defense" in quotes originally for clarity, because I agree that a confrontation was planned, the black dodge full of antifa medics that runs a light to deposit them on scene and the stalking footage proves that to me, but I can't prove the intent in the planning was to kill Danielson, and all the medics presence prove is intent to cause confrontation which would also likely result in injury.
I might be dispensing too much benefit of the doubt with my analysis but those are the conclusions I came to.
All that said, the revelations about who fired the shot are interesting to say the least. I am curious to learn if the shooter has an FB or twitter, and if so, what is on it. That tattoo given the context has my noggin joggin.
It would behoove us to remember a big part of why things have gotten so bad is because crazy people hold positions outside their political beliefs, see the people hired to run social media moderation, and the people who currently do risk assessments in banking and payment processing required by the PATRIOT act to name a couple of the most relevant examples.
