I was curious what the new tipping process is like now that Phil implemented these totally secure changes to prevent fake tips.

I went to his Streamlabs page and filled out the fields to tip

After clicking "Tip," Streamlabs prompted me to log in with Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Mixer, Periscope, Picarto, or Paypal

I connected it to a burner twitch account I made to test this, which Streamlabs now forces as your username when you try to tip. This explains why we're not seeing weird tipper names lately, because you're forced to use whatever your twitch, youtube, etc. account's name is. Maybe it shows your real name if you connect it to Facebook for some reason?

After clicking "Tip" again, this window pops up, asking if I want to use PayPal or Credit Card.

Clicking "PayPal" opens a window where you can sign in with a PayPal account, or pay with debit or credit card. Clicking "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" opens up the "Guest Checkout" screen that Phil said isn't possible with his new changes.

Back to Streamlabs, if you click "Credit Card" instead of "PayPal" it opens this screen, which is also like a guest checkout, but with even less info required.

I don't know why Phil implemented this feature thinking it would somehow prevent people from using the "guest checkout" feature with fake tips. It's still possible to tip via this method, and it's even possible to tip without using PayPal at all. Seems like it's just an extra step legitimate tippers have to take, along with handing over control of their Twitch/YouTube/etc. account to Streamlabs, just to tip Phil a dollar. Plus, you can no longer "anonymously" tip Phil anymore since Streamlabs forces you to use the name of the account you signed in with. Tonight's supposed $2,000 of fake tips and $59 real tips shows that this method didn't faze the troll tipper, and probably put off a few legit tippers.
Oh my god. So the new "system" he's been touting to prevent bullshit did literally nothing to stop any bullshit. Fucking classic.

"forged divorce papers" stands out to me for some reason. I have to strain my imagination, but if I were happily married, somewhat notorious online, and people started spreading rumors that I was getting divorced, I'd be more upset about the rumors, right? Who gives a shit about the papers? The fact he has to emphasize "forged" divorce papers suggests to me there is a set of papers that are not forged. I'm autistic as hell and probably reading too much into it but he does this. It's a thing of his. "dummy AdSense account" meaning the one he had which was against the terms of service. "Unearned damage" when someone pulls off an attack in Street Fighter and he's not good enough to stop it.

Everyone says there should be a record of the divorce filling but that's assuming the filling was at any point actually accepted by the court.

Whether it be because the fake was obvious (The Discord thing, for what it's worth, said the signature was taken off his bankruptcy filling, which means the signature might have been printed and not forged by hand with a pen, which would probably be quite noticeable) or the troll hadn't paid for it (And I don't blame him for not dumping 200-300$ into his dumb gay op), if the court rejected the paper, it would likely have informed DSP about it - asking him about the forgery attempt and possible charges to be pressed, or to spit the cash.

I hate to sperg about this but Jesus christ these days you don't even need a drill to mount anchors. A single Philips head screwdriver is fine for EZ anchors and now they have these lime green ones you just bash into the wall with a hammer like a mong.

there was a signature on the marriage certificate, so it wouldn't be hard to get it

and the reason the bankruptcy was mentioned, was to say the court was retarded enough to rubber stamp that, so the divorce would be rubber stamped just as easily

someone from WA said it took them a year to go through their own divorce and they didn't need to have their signature or anything verified, and they didn't need to attend some counselling thing cause there was an option to pay-2-skip

most of the info is on thenoriginal marriage license, you need things like dob, maiden name(s) and social security number, the social # is probably what will stop this from happening unless it was somehow leaked

the only reason I can imagine dsp is upset over it, is cause he contacted the courts and went full karen, expecting some first class treatment or new procedure to be put in place, which is the kind of behaviour we see him exhibit regularly when things like the dmca and other shit happened

he wanted twitch to safeguard him against fake dmca claims, he warned the local police of his haters, he put special instructions against his electricity and internet account, and he even had to contact the HoA about troll activities

the courts probably thought he was a paranoid nut job, and no doubt the clerk was dumb cause she didn't just bend the knee to his demands, they also probably told him to go through the proper channels if he wanted info on the divorce, i.e pay money to find out cause he's too lazy to search public records himself

I am legit laughing my ass off at this vest hanger thing. He hung it up with VELCRO?! Over the plugins for his consoles and TV?! After it fell down and he tried to rehang it on the same velcro?! He was too lazy to put the vests in his closet so now he just has them lying on the floor?! And he writes the whole event off as "bad luck." It was "bad luck" that he used velcro to mount something on his wall and it fell down. Peak DSP. Simply incredible.

If he's happily married, how would the 'forged divorce papers' (which he himself brought up) affect his life in any way? Why would something non-consequential stress him out? This definitely goes deeper. Once again DSP is exposing himself.
Additionally, Phil has mentioned a few times that the vests are now laying in a heap and that Jasper keeps jumping into the pile.
This is the funniest bit to me. The hanger fell off the wall and what does he do? He leaves the clothes on the floor. Amazing.

The real divorce saga will start the same way he described his relationship with Leanna falling apart after the swatting. "My marriage was perfectly happy until some mentally ill detractor tried to file faked divorce papers." Phil himself never does anything to sour a relationship with anyone.
