Social Justice Warriors - Now With Less Feminism Sperging

A long time ago (10+ years ago) I got in an argument that this will do nothing more than result in only bonuses behind handed out, no repercussions for any choices, all in the name of "player empowerment" and "diversity", which will turn into a game of character generation rocket-tag as well as dumbing everything down into the "Game of Big Gray Blobs".

The whole thing of removing any repercussions from choice, making sure everything is the same except for the bonuses, dumbing it down, and candy-coating everything will destroy not only the game, but the original communities, as well as imagination.

No more will it be a game of brave heroes braving terrible foes but rather happy sparkly gray blobs dancing around comparing mental illnesses, physical disabilties, and who is the most grey-ee and blob-ee of all.

That's kind of what happened with the toolkits in 4th edition. Every class was soullessly put into a box like "controller" or "striker" and they were numerically and mechanically balanced with every other class in that box.

Yeah that's it I'm moving to Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay and Rogue Trader, all that money for out of print stuff will go towards printer ink and filament.

I can see what they were trying to do with 4E but it fell flat because they went too far with the "video game"ification. It feels like a system that would be perfect when combined with a digital tabletop made specifically around that edition.

Originally it was slated to be that way, if I recall correctly. Neverwinter Online was (is, it's not totally gone yet) and MMORPG using the 4th edition rules as a framework. Though it never really translated well to the engine they were using, since there's no grid or tactical play. Wizards also came out with a special character creator thingie that was online that you could use to make online stored characters but it barely worked. That's part of what I think was going to be their online tabletop market entry, but it failed due to incompetence.

They later used the 4th edition rules in boardgames like Castle Ravenloft and other dungeon crawling introductory D&D type things for the then-popular adult boardgaming fad. They even had a FACEBOOK GAME where you used the classes straight from the PHB in an idle-game styled dungeon crawl.

Basically it was Wizards' attempt to make a tabletop game they could use to sell every other thing they produced and get into new markets.

Why not use this month to maybe put some lesser known black characters/artists into the spotlight? Then there wouldn't have to be any stupid arguments and you could just celebrate good black representation in media.
Because the people doing these kinds of things don't have the capacity to make new intellectual property. They can only steal what other people make and try to reshape it into their own image.

God, now I love this "Memes" guy even more. I've always found it annoying how it's okay race-lift characters to black, but if you did it the same thing the other way, people would shit on you for "white-washing." If it were okay to race-lift in any way you wanted, I'd be fine with it, but it isn't the case, and as Memes points out, it merely a tactic to get on the nerves of fans of established characters. Deliberately trying to piss people off over a fictional character's race isn't going to heal the wounded race relations in the real word, you idiots. Might even go towards harming it due to the nature of the double standard.

Well Malcom X made a point about liberals always wanting to be the center of attention and always put in leadership roles in Black based organizations. It’s probably just a white woman wanting to promote her art and pick a fight with white people so they fall into a trap.

Well what do you know, there are smart people out there

A little update about my last post, Based Laura got locked out of her account for telling people that recieving immigrants by the dozens ruined yurop, apparently Facts hurt feefees

Probably Karla had her feefees hurt and reported every single one of her tweets until finally one passed

It's so bizarre how many people now seem to seriously believe law enforcement didn't exist in any form before American slavery and the very concept of police was invented for slave catchers who needed something to do (legally murder blacks of course) after abolition.

Also bizarre how many think prison is a uniquely American institution, and that they don't have prisons in France, or Germany, or Canada or whatever liberal paradise they want to flee to every 4 years.... that there's some kind of magical "community based" justice system over there, where no one ever gets robbed or murdered or raped, and the only "Crimes" are ones you can just pat people on the head for and say "don't do it again kiddo".

Or that the idea of modern policing came out of the UK, a country that had abolished slavery PRIOR to establishing the idea?

So, which is it?

Are all prisons and all police bad? If so, go bother the perfect states of mainland Europe, they're just as guilty.

If it's just American cops/prisons that are bad due to racism, well, then that's a call for reform, not abolishment, if Europe can do it "right" so can we...

But I've already put more thought into it than the dangerhair screechers.

Cops are bad until they get robbed then they are good after they catch the culprit then they are bad again and repeat the cycle, people that complain about cops are 10 out of 10 criminals
