I miss the memes. I don't know if it were because of the way the memes played so well against Hillary, or that the meme makers weren't worn out from 4 years, or it's similar to comedy in that it's difficult to satirize/make fun of the left due to how insane they are now, or that there isn't an overarching meme format anymore (2016 was pepe), or that Biden is just so boring that it's harder to riff on him than Hills, but 2020 general election memes aren't as good.

The dem primary ones were great, but there's that spark that's missing with the general election. I don't know why.

A lot of people who made memes mocking Hillary got banned off of most normalfag platforms after Trump got elected in 2016. Biden and Harris are quite mockable, it's just that it takes a certain amount of talent to make fun of somebody and the people who had that talent largely aren't on twitter anymore, sadly.

The executive and judiciary are too entangled, so there's no way to truly depoliticise it without removing any semblance of a democratic mandate (and in turn legitimacy from the public) for court judges, so a supermajority is the best they're gonna get.

It's really annoying how this perceived disaster has only happened because the usual suspects changed the rules because it felt like a good idea at the time, and now the minute it's negative implications are being felt their solution is a country-destroying power grab.
Biden's slogan is some platitude about 'Restoring the Soul of America' but even by their own admission, Lincoln didn't pack the courts in 1864 and he was dealing with half the country seceding

I would also be in favor of not having SCOTUS as a lifetime appointment. That prevents heavily politicized scenarios like the one we just saw with RBG. I'll say it again, but pressuring an 87 year old cancer patient to "hang on" because it benefits the party is just insane to me.

If it wasn't a lifetime appointment, it takes party lines out of it at least a little bit.

If Biden wins and they manage to pack the court(unlikely but a possibility), I think that will really be the death bell for the Republic. You just can't recover from that.

Voted by mail, as I've been doing for many years now. Struck my blow for freedom. Only regret - recall for Nazi Newsom not on this ballot. Look for that in the spring. Believe there will be enough signatures to force an election.

Keith Olbermann's off his meds, now worse than ever. He cannot actually believe what he wishes for will happen. Civil War II much? Olbermann wouldn't survive the first week of another civil war at any level of conflict. Civil war means the gloves are off.

The Neoliberal and Corporate America establishment seems like. wants that to really happen so that they can get more bucks from China and more and more wealthy. Western Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and almost half of America really want to globalism shit to happen hard.

Russia and China are the wrench in their plans given as both were or are communists in some form and as a result are very nationalist as hell.

They'll probably pack the courts if ACB is confirmed, because the Democratic Party couldn't care less what the citizens want or what's best for the country. I'm sure they'd be really arrogant and think they have carte blanche to do whatever too, if they take down a candidate with the enthusiasm Trump has.

If Biden gets that clean mandate win then maybe this is what the country deserves to be honest. And you can't blame them either if this country excluding California, lets Biden get into the White House. As 8 years of Obama wasn't enough.

However the Democratic Party lately does not run on merit so they have tendencies of fucking things up hard.

As for care about the citizens, the people these days supporting the party think of themselves as the member of the elite. And of course niggers and mud people for gibs and diversity race quotas and all that shit.
