Universal voter ID.
Same in Australia. You have to register (voting is compulsory) once you turn 18 and then they send you a card with your name and address and a ID number on it. You take the card and show it on election day (or early voting), they ask you if you've voted before, someone in line always makes the joke that they wouldn't even vote once if they didn't have to and then they give you your form and you go and fill them out and drop them off then go and do whatever it is you'd rather be doing on a Saturday.. No minorities are suppressed.
